Heathcliff, Heathcliff, No One Should

They’re hoping to make a big-screen live-action/CGI hybrid of Heathcliff, similar to Alvin and the Chipmunks. Magic Lantern Entertainment has secured the rights from FitzRoy Media.
What else do you need to know? Heathcliff is fat, lazy, sarcastic cat. He terrifies the neighborhood. He plays pranks on everyone.
Join in the jubilee.
Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between the theme song for the old “Heathcliff” sitcom and “Holiday Road” from National Lampoon’s Vacation? (I also have to warn against clicking on the “Holiday Road” link — it takes a supreme amount of willpower not to listen to it the entire way through).

Interesting sidenote:
In the early episodes of "Married With Children", the view of the car pulling onto the freeway is stock footage taken from Family Vacation. The Griswold family station wagon can be easily seen as the camera pans back.
