While not officially picking it up, at the TCA’s today, the NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt did announce that Parks and Recreation would be back for a 7th season, so we will get to see how Leslie Knope’s future plays out, despite the low ratings of the series. While committing to P&R, Bob Greenblatt also noted that Community’s renewal is a “strong possibility,” which might have been the truth, or it might have been something he said because he knew it would please a crowd of mostly critics.

Other NBC news from the TCA’s: Next year’s live-musical will be Peter Pan, Katherine Heigl’s pilot was ordered, The Blacklist will move to a new night next year (without the support of The Voice) and Amy Poehler signed a three year development deal. Her first pilot, which received an order, will star Natasha Lyonne. Old Soul is about a young woman trying to find herself while working in a retirement home and receiving the very opinionated advice of old people.

Finally, Jay Leno’s final guest was announced: It will, appropriately enough, be Jimmy Fallon, who will be taking over the show in February.
