For the 36th year in a row, terrible movies continue to dominate among the Razzie Nominees. Inexplicably, the Golden Raspberry Awards have once again singled out only terrible movies for recognition, dotting the year in film with downer notes. The 2015 slate of films are really, really bad, while the performances selected are equally atrocious. Why anyone would want to remember any of these movies or performances, much less highlight them in an awards ceremony, doesn’t make a lot of sense. Millions of dollars were spent and wasted on production and attendance these garbage movies, and yet the Golden Raspberry Awards — the helicopter parents of the movie world — insist that they get singled out with a star of some sort, because apparently everyone is a winner, even the losers.

Back in the day, when movies sucked, they got pulled from theaters and thrown onto a bargain-bin shelf never to be mentioned again.
