Word has it that the new NEW Daario Naharis, Michiel Huisman, will be promoted to series regular in season 5 of Game of Thrones. So, to recap. This guy, Ed Skrein, the original
Daario Fabio Naharis? He’s out.
This guy, the deliciously beard Huisman who you might know from Treme or Nashville or your fantasies about the upcoming season of Orphan Black, is in.
And not just in for a few episodes of season four, but in for the long haul as a regular in season five. What does that mean for the plot? Bejaysus I don’t know. As it is, they’re going to have to stretch things to keep Emilia Clarke’s scenes interesting. A few seasons of Mereen? Spare me. I suppose with increased Daario, well see an uptick in this.
That should keep at least some portion of the crowd interested. What I do know is that either way next season is going to be bad for our favorite knight. I’m not sure I can bear* the heartbreak.
