For Your Consideration: Karen Gillan

Summer officially unofficially kicks off this weekend (it also officially unofficially kicked off with Iron Man 2, though it won’t officially officially kick off until June 21st) and the summer around here always means The Pajiba Ten. I think this summer will be our fourth annual list of the most bangables.

That doesn’t arrive until July, but in the meantime, in an effort to sway the vote this year, I thought I’d do a little stumping for Karen Gillan, “Doctor Who’s” new companion. I’m a fan. I find her very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I would enjoy the presence of her company in a clothing optional situation.

But, as you all know, the Pajiba Ten is supposed to be more than just eye candy. It’s also about talent, intelligence, and sense of humor. Most of you in the States only know Karen Gillan from “Doctor Who” (if you know her at all), but before there was The Doctor, there was “The Kevin Bishop Show,” a sketch comedy program. I have no idea if the show was any good, overall, but judging from this ten-minute clip featuring skits with Karen Gillan, I’d say it was more than adequately entertaining. It seems that the major theme in most of these clips is making fun of American television and cinema. Also, lots of boner humor.

She's very pretty. I've not seen the new Doctor Who, so I can't say anything beyond that.

It is? I missed that memo. I thought it was just about who you found most bangable for whatever reason. I guess if I were a pool, I'd be two inches deep.

I found everything about that video infinitely funnier than ANY American comedy show I am currently aware of. Which is one reason I really haven't been watching TV lately.
She is very tall, or funny British dudes trend towards short.
