Actors Dean O’Gorman and Aidan Turner portray Kili and Fili, two of the youngest Dwarves born into the royal line of Durin and raised under the stern guardianship of their uncle, Thorin Oakenshield. Neither has ever travelled far, nor ever seen the fabled Dwarf City of Erebor. For both, the journey to the Lonely Mountain represents adventure and excitement. Skilled fighters, both brothers set off on their adventure armed with the invincible courage of youth, neither being able to imagine the fate which lies before them.

Nevermind the one on the right, the one on the left looks like Alan Cumming.

He does look like Seth Green. I also see Charlie Day.

I cannot believe they are turning the hotness that is Mitchell from "Being Human" into a dwarf. But. . .well. . .as dwarves go, he's kind of hot, no?

I'll take the one on the right. Though the one on the left looks like he'd fit right in with Merry & Pippin. So, you know, a mischievous scamp.

So, these are the "hot" dwarves? Mitchell looks like a Gelfling from The Dark Crystal.

If this is what young dwarves look like, they don't age well, do they?

The one on the left looks like he has elf braids in his hair. Is that what young dwarves do to rebel? Braid their hair like elves? Do they threaten to run away and start climbing trees?

Not quite stout enough, but I'll forgive them for that. WETA certainly knows how to equip em

Dustin, how were you able to proofread the copy through your constant, involuntary eye-rolling?

BWeaves, according to Tolkien no, dwarves don't age well. They age slowly and live to about 140. Their women are hard to spot as they resemble the menfolk.
