Moovee Pictures, Pictures Everywhere; Look Ma! I'm Not Wearing Underwear

It’s MLK Day here in the states, so most of you are at home today, unless your employer is John McCain, and I don’t want to work your brain too hard with a bunch of words, so how’s about some images?

These first are from a Annie Leibovitz shoot for Vanity Fair with the Wall Street sequel’s cast, including Shia LaBeouf, Michael Douglas, the awesome Carey Mulligan, and Josh Brolin. There’s not much to say about them, other than I’d totally let Mulligan shake my hand in a respectful, non-sexual way, if you get my meaning. Also, I would totally do her taxes for her.

Next up, lots of images from the set of Nimród Antal’s Predators leaked over the weekend, but most of them were pulled by 20th Century Fox before I could get my hands on them. Here’s a few that we’re still available, via /Film. All I know is that no amount of pictures will properly prepare me for Topher Grace and Adrien Brody in this film.

The L.A. Times also has a lot of images for this year’s upcoming movies, many of which are either uninteresting or have been made unavailable elsewhere. But here’s a few of interest:

Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love:

Kevin James in Zoopeeper (or Mall Cop in a zoo):

Morning Glory with Harrison Ford, Rachel McAdams, and Diane Keaton:

Is it just me or is the guy in the second Predator pic riding an invisible segway?

And why are the Predators standing around like the kids from Jersey Shore after someone jacked their snookie?

We are not on holiday today, alas.

Eat, Pray, Love was a godawful book about a woman no one should aspire to be like. Can't wait for the film!

Ugh.

Heh. It does look like that.

My wife's at work today. Since they had a teacher inservice day last week, the school is open today. So she's teaching today, and the kids aren't happy.

I want to love Predators. Please let me love Predators. Don't ruin it for me, Foreman.

So Rowles you are under the impression that most people get MLK day off? Does everyone you know work in a bank?

Posted by: Eep at January 18, 2010 12:23 PM

Morning Glory has Patrick Wilson. That means I will see it.

Posted by: Nimue at January 18, 2010 12:25 PM

Shia LeBouf....He's the cinematic equivalent of cinnamon in the mashed potatoes at this point.

Look at that picture up there. Look at it. Does he belong anywhere with that cast? Like cinnamon, he has his place. But that is not mixed in with Michael Douglas.

Is the middle predator wearing high heels or is the dude on his tip toes?are ladies playing predators? I prefer tw slender look predator to the steroid mutants they became in AVP so that could be sort of cool if they're more svelt, and frankly, ninja

Posted by: Nadine at January 18, 2010 1:06 PM

Oh boy.

Those "predators" look weak.
Voyager alien of the week, weak.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at January 18, 2010 1:12 PM

I'm sure as hell... uh, not at home.

Posted by: Todd at January 18, 2010 1:15 PM

Great. How am I supposed to get any work done while imagining Rachel McAdams bent over my desk like that?

Really. How?

Posted by: Groundloop at January 18, 2010 1:24 PM

Groundloop-

Good lord, yes.

Posted by: chad at January 18, 2010 1:28 PM

chick predators???i guess theres a logic there somewhere..

Posted by: pasadenamike at January 18, 2010 2:06 PM

Sadly, private employers have a choice to give their employees the day off. And my boss don't care 'bout black people. Actually, though, I'd be working even with "the day off", or even if it was Christmas, or whatever, because I've got a big deadline and I've slackin' on Pajiba too much, so I'm up to my ears in work.

And yes, that's a great picture.... of Rachel McAdam's ASS.

Adrien Brody I'm totally buying in Predator. Foreman, not so much. And yeah, those Predators look kinda skinny, and sissy, but that's the magic of movie-making: somehow, in post-production, they'll make them bad-ass. Will they be able to do the same for Topher? Only time will tell.

Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Chris Rock in Grown Ups:

Is there any way, any way on Earth, this is NOT an unspeakably awful film? Two terrible comics in Sandler and James along with Rock, a great comedian but a terrible actor. This is "punch-a-baby" bad.

Posted by: Tracer Bullet at January 18, 2010 3:05 PM

Does everyone you know work in a bank?

Public library, bitch.

SUCK IT!!

Posted by: Jay at January 18, 2010 3:31 PM

And yes, that's a great picture.... of Rachel McAdam's ASS.

What ass?

Posted by: Jay at January 18, 2010 3:33 PM

That's an odd casting choice, as Julia Roberts does none of those things...

Posted by: ShagEaredVillain at January 18, 2010 3:45 PM

Let's not be too harsh. Eat... meh. Pray... nah. But I bet Julia Roberts loves her children.

Posted by: MM at January 18, 2010 3:49 PM

Just the genetic bits of herself that got transferred to them.

Posted by: ShagEaredVillain at January 18, 2010 3:53 PM

Tracer, the other day I threatened to punch a baby. Some bitch with a pram and a mongo husband nearly ran me down and I threatened to punch a baby.
I woulda done it too.

Posted by: Nadine at January 18, 2010 5:51 PM

But...you know hoow it is...politics

Posted by: Nadine at January 18, 2010 5:52 PM

He said, "...Jacked their snookie."

heh...mmhmm...ppfffffHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Jacked their snookie.

Grown-Ups looks exactly like Old Dogs but a million times more obnoxious.

Also, Carey Mulligan's face scares me. It's way too small or something.

Posted by: figgy at January 19, 2010 12:58 AM

Looks like Predator Power Rangers
