First Les Miserables Trailer Gives Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby Trailer the Sads

Just after JoRo unveiled all the new depressing images from Les Miserables, they’ve seen fit to release the trailer, clearly nonplussed by our publishing schedule. It features a lot of pretty Anne Hathaway warble and ugly Anne Hathway hair, and rain and gloom and poverty, and all I can think is how upset this probably makes Baz Luhrmann’s opulent Great Gatsby trailer. Leo and Mulligan are dancing up a storm, smoking cigarettes, drinking out of chalets, and along comes fucking Debbie Downer with her “life has killed a dream I dreamed.” It doesn’t have to be so bad, Fantine! Find a chandelier, get under it, and dance the night away to some dubstepped U2 song.
