Drew Carey (whose sitcom The Drew Carey Show ended its run 10 years ago today) is putting $10,000 of his own money toward the effort to locate several Ohio high school students who pulled a heinous prank on an Autistic child.

The awful act involved a 14-year-old autistic boy who was challenged to participate in the viral movement that’s meant to bring awareness to Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Instead of getting splashed with a bucket of water, however, the young Ohio student allegedly had a bucket of urine, feces and spit poured over him by his high school peers.

Carey volunteered $10,000 to the local police, although he also stated that if the kids are located without reward money, he would donate the $10,000 to Autism Speaks.

Locals in Bay Village, Ohio where the incident took place have held a rally to show support for the Autistic boy who was pranked.

Meanwhile, the only appropriate punishment for the teenagers responsible for the prank is to make them stand in sewage up to their necks while dung is thrown at their faces.
