While the fifth season* of Downton Abbey hasn’t even arrived for us rebellious troublemakers here in the US, it’s just finished its run in the UK and that’s enough time for them to decide to plow ahead with a sixth season to air next fall. There’s also news that Matthew Goode will be joining the cast, with his first appearance in this year’s Christmas special and more frequent appearances next season.

I understand that Matthew Goode is generally considered a handsome guy and every so often I can see it, but between his somewhat weak chin, long neck, and large eyes this is typically what I thought of when I saw him:

But then I saw Stoker and now I find him slightly terrifying and hope that his role on Downton takes a similar tone. Could really shake things up for the Crawleys!

*I know they’re called “series” in the UK. I don’t care.
