Did Ron Howard Just Confirm That Chris Pratt Is The Star Of The New 'Jurassic Park' Movie?

I don’t want to be an irresponsible “journalist” here, but I’ve been looking around and it doesn’t look Chris Pratt had confirmed he would be starring in Jurassic World. Not that it makes that much of a difference. Sometimes a rumor sticks around long enough that waiting for official confirmation seems unnecessary and almost silly. Nonetheless, Pratt is still listed as “rumored” to star in Jurassic World on his IMDB page:

But who needs a press release when you’ve got an adorably mistyped tweet from Pratt’s co-star’s father aka Ron Howard aka Opie?

First I hear about Osama Bin Laden on Twitter from the Rock and now this? From Opie??! Kiss off into the air, print media. Now let’s celebrate the news in true Dwyer fashion:

I'm stoked that Pratt seems to be making it big, he just seems like such an
awesome guy, though Parks and Rec without him just wont be the same.

  • Sarah Weissman

Isn't it in its last season? Did I make that up?

  • Ben

Well they have said that Chris and Anne would be leaving the show at the end of this season, So I guess that means they are at least planning to make more seasons without them.

  • Sarah Weissman

I thought it just meant they would finish the season without them. shrugs.

  • BAM

I REALLY hope that Chris Pratt doesn't get overload backlash in the next couple years. I like him too much.

  • Sarah Weissman

Sounds like Howard may have network connectivity issues...

  • Carey Adams

    Nice one.

Thanks! That's my favorite Andy moment maybe ever. Can you believe that line was Pratt IMPROVISING? CRAZY clever.
