Why Would You Even Bother Writing Anything, Ever, If You Could Spend All Your Time Just Wrecking Michelle Pfeiffer? / Seth Freilich

David E. Kelley is pitching a new pilot script he’s written, which CBS and NBC are both reportedly interested in. And hold onto your hat, because I’ve got some shocking news to drop in this bitch — the new show is a legal drama!
I know, right? Kelley doesn’t seem the one to jump to new territory like this. I mean, sure, there was “L.A. Law,” but that was so long ago. And “Ally McBeal,” well that wasn’t a legal drama, more of a dramedy. And “Girls Club” was just utter crap. And “The Practice” wasn’t a lega drama, it was … uhm … but “Boston Legal,” which isn’t even done yet, totally wasn’t a legal drama because, well ….
…Sigh. I wonder whether there will be a quirky character in the show.

Umm.... Seth, Girls' Club had infinite possibilities, and I was outraged when it was canceled after only two episodes. How can you develop your characters with only two episodes? You Can't!!! Nice job, again, Fox.
