The 2014 Black List was released earlier today, and once again, Wesley Snipes leads the way with one million votes.

Just kidding. The Black List is a rundown of the best unproduced screenplays as voted on by Hollywood executives and insiders. And we all know Snipes is no writer. He can’t even fill out his tax forms.

The actual 2014 winner is Kristina Lauren Anderson’s screenplay for Catherine The Great, which chronicles the life and times of Russia’s renowned ruler. Surprising pick to lead the Black List considering Catherine II is whiter than cocaine milk. Have to think voter fraud might have played a role here.

Anyway, here are the top 10 vote-getters, along with a few other interesting selections. The full 70-script list is available at blcklst.com if you’re interested. Jokes aside, making the Black List cut is a rather prestigious honor: thirty-seven Black List scripts produced since 2005 have gone on to win an Oscar.
