I haven’t watched any of Showtimes’ “Californication,” since bailing on it about half-way through the opening season. A little too much sex for sex’s sake, if you ask. me. But you didn’t. And sometimes, I’m an idiot.

I may work on catching up soon, as Deadline has revealed that Carla Gugino will be doing a 10-episode arc on “Californiacation” as a likable corporate attorney and David Duchovny’s love interest. Carla Gugino on a pay-cable show where sex scenes are frequent?

I don’t normally like to show my red-blooded heterosexual side. It’s ugly. And unseemly. But, damn. Carla Gugino. She’s a very pretty woman.

I stopped watching Californication because of it's gratuitousness for gratuitousness's sake. The whole thing - sex, drugs, greed, porn stars, adultery, Los Angeles, complete lack of regard for others - got to be a little much. All the characters proved themselves to be a bunch of assholes who deserved no sympathy at all. I need to be able to grasp onto some semblance of a moral compass, even if it's relative.

I love Carla Gugino. They should have a show called, "Carla gugino's boobs." I'd watch that, constantly, naked.

I just want to crawl inside her cleavage and build a little house for me and my dogs to play in. We could go run boob-based errands. Get fresh milk and to boob store. Make deposits at the boob bank. Play in the boob park.

Carla Gugino is one of those actors/actresses that I like immensely, far more than I like any project she's ever been in.

There will definitely be lots of Gugino boobage. I think it's a rule for the women on that show.

Dustin, you probably won't want to catch up, just tune in for the Gugino - if you thought the gratuitousness was bad in the first season, it's nothing compared to 2 and 3. I kept watching because I'm a sucker for Duchovny's smartass humor, but it really is absurd.

um, ah, um , ue, yeah, i m glad sin city came so intensely to give me a more recent memory of her to automatically jump to, to replace the one from that other film, lackluster writing, etc, saw late nite hbo before hbo had ten channels, she did where lesbians fucked her with a bottle, which, consequently, could have been a monumental cinematic event

Still pissed "Karen Sisco" didn't get more than a few episodes. Gugino melts the screen, that woman is insanely hot. Except in "Watchmen" where they did horrible normal makeup and even more horribler aging makeup on her.

I agree taht she is incredibly beautiful but once in a while I feel the need to jump in on these posts and point out that she is an AMAZING actress. She got stellar reviews for her appearance in Desire Under the Elms in New York last year. Maybe this is why she doesn't appear in films so much.

Oh, God, Karen Sisco. In the pilot episode, she starts dating a guy who turns out to be wanted by the FBI. They're trying to give her crap about it, and she just blows them off. Then they ask her if she got his fingerprints. She gives them a look that could melt titanium and purrs, "I've got them all over me."

I've lusted after her ever since.
