"I've always been intrigued by Stockholm Syndrome, it reminds me of my childhood."

First off, do not search google images for "bored to death." It's like a designated keyword for surreal madness.

We linked to the trailer for HBO's new Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis comedy a while back and it looked decent, a bit quirky. The show premieres this Sunday, but HBO decided to release the first episode online for free to drum up interest. It's pretty damned entertaining and much better than the first trailer, which had some good lines, but played up the quirk a bit much for my tastes. The first episode has a really genuine feel, the characters come across as real people more than caricatures of quirk and Schwartzman in particular captures a pitch perfect directionless nice guy who tries to stumble his way through what he thinks noir detectives would do.

I couldn't quite get embedding to work as they're being all fancy and hi-def, but you can watch the episode here.
