Billy Zane Chips Away at His IRS Tax Debt One Horrible Film at a Time
Do you have any idea how many films Billy Zane has done that you've never seen? Billy Zane has 115 titles on his IMDB filmography. In the last decade, Zane has made over 35 movies, not including stints on three television series. I have heard of two of those movies: Bloodrayne and The Roommate (I've also seen both; they're terrible, obvs.). He has seven films lined up this year. You'll probably never hear of those, either. But I do want to make sure that you've at least heard about one: Leprechaun's Revenge, debuting on the SyFy channel on, appropriately enough, St. Patrick's Day. The movie has nothing to do with the Leprechaun series, but the logline is brilliant:
An evil leprechaun who has been imprisoned within the roots of a majestic old oak tree, is accidentally set loose on St. Patrick's Day. Once free, he takes out his bloody revenge on the descendants of the people who originally imprisoned him.
Here's the trailer.
Billy Zane owes the IRS more than $100,000 in back taxes. Apparently, he's working that off one $100 movie role at a time.
