About the Time Pajiban Prince Nathan Fillion Shut Down Justin Bieber's Entourage

By Dustin Rowles | Trade News | August 4, 2014 | Comments ()

Newbies to the site may not remember this, but I believe Nathan Fillion was number one on our Pajiba 10 the first two out of three years of its existence, and symbolically anyway, the first member of the Pajiba 10 Hall of Fame. This site's love affair dates back many years, and knowing that he once shut down Justin Bieber and his entourage is only going to increase our adoration.

According to a story relayed by Alan Tudyk at Zachary Levi's NerdHQ, he and Fillion were playing Halo at a release party when Bieber and his entourage entered. I'll let the GIFs do the talking.

You can also watch the video evidence with the appropriate crowd response (at 28:45).

It's a sin to fast forward to the Bieber story when it's all about Tudyk.

  • Welldun

Had to google him but I am now in love

  • emmelemm

Nathan Fillion is a prince AND a hero, but Mr. Tudyk is amazing in his own right.

  • Ryan Ambrose

The guy was a blast in "Death at a Funeral" (the British one), and gave one of the funniest third-lead performances I've ever seen. The man completely trips balls while on acid and dials his performance accordingly as the effects escalate, why he isn't a bigger comedy star today is beyond me.

  • mzblackwidow

his performance as the gay man in recovery in 28 Days is one of my all time favourites. Like Ryan Ambrose said he is a natural at comedy AND can turn it on a dime to be the creepiest mf ever (see Alpha in Dollhouse)

Steve the Pirate was the best part of Dodgeball.

  • I had such a weird reaction to Alan in 42, where he plays the Phillies' racist manager and hurls non-stop n-bombs at Jackie Robinson. On the one hand, it's Alan Tudyk and he's cool. On the other, that was some hateful shit he was spewing.

I ended up shorting out a la Robbie the Robot.

  • stella

He was amazing ing Dale and Tucker vs Evil too. That movie is so great.

  • manting

I saw the original unedited version before release and I loved it. I need to see the finished product.

  • amberdragonfly

I actually watched that yesterday. Third time and I was still cracking up!

  • Tinkerville

That movie has become a classic in our household. I watch it with the parents whenever I visit. "Join the others.. join the others!"

  • amberdragonfly

I loved that panel! If you haven't watched Nerd HQ panels yet, you have to check out the one from Supernatural and the Joss Whedon panel, which also had Tudyk in it, since Joss was recovering from surgery or something. Best three panels this year.

  • Sirilicious

    Also Nathan's panelS.

  • amberdragonfly

Which of course I did not include even though he is my favorite. I blame Monday.

Although he did moderate the Joss panel, but still. Doesn't really count.

  • Sirilicious

I thought you had an unnatural aversion against Nathan and this was your way of passive aggressively showing that, without being super obvious. :D

  • amberdragonfly

If that were true, it would completely f*ck up my Men To Do list. Just sayin'.

  • The look on Levi's face during that story was amazing. Also? Too much nerd sexy for one room.

  • If you follow Fillion on Twitter you know he can't stand rude and pushy people so that reaction is absolutely in line with expectations and a quite wonderful response. Really looking forward to Bieber not being a thing anymore and burning out like 99% of teen heart throbs. So many tales of that guy being a piece of shit.

  • mzblackwidow

I couldn't love Nathan or Alan any more ! If life were as it should be, the Bieberfetusdouche would be cleaning toilets and Cap'n & Wash would be the stars of everything <3<3

  • Kala

I'm having a difficult time not watching this entire interview, which speaks volumes about Tudyk's goofy charm. Maybe it's my weakness for ginger men, but despite Fillion's sexy swagger, I always knew that if I made it on the good ship Serenity, I would be after Wash in a second.

  • NateMan

Zoe would have gutted you like a fish!

  • emmalita

She wouldn't even need a knife. She could make you bleed with just a look.

  • Kala

That's one of the (many) reasons I liked her so much: Great taste in men.

  • I'm twenty minutes deep and don't regret a second.

  • AvaLehra

Oh, Dr. Pomatter -- you'll always be number one in my book: http://38.media.tumblr.com/980...

  • emmalita

I would expect no less. I sort of want to see a "do you know who I am?" battle between them, but I think Nathan Fillion is too good a Canadian to say it.

  • Uriah_Creep

We've basically extradited BieberDouche permanently, whereas Nathan Fillion could be the King of Alberta if he decided to. Hail Nathan!

  • emmalita

I was wondering if there was some kind of balancing the forces of Canadian Good and Canadian Evil relationship between them.

  • BettyNugs

Love to see Alan Tudyk get some love!

  • Sarah

I had hoped his career would blow up after I, Robot but I can't be surprised no one recognizes him from that.

  • He's gotta be the most underrated person in Hollywood (no matter what Zooey Deschanel thinks.)

    Such a great game!

  • googergieger

You will die a complete and total miserable failure that deserves all the bad things in life that have happened to him, no matter what Zooey Deschanel thinks.

What? Oh right, I'm the only one that has gotten that fortune cookie. Wait, what? I am?

Timecop was a great movie, no matter what Zooey Deschanel thinks.

  • "Hey Ya" is better than "Happy" no matter what Zooey Deschanel thinks.

I love Outkast, no matter what Zooey Deschanel thinks.

  • It's like Justin Bieber can't help but be the most colossal dickbag whenever he enters a room.

  • Which one is Pink?

He's going to have his own Purple Wedding at it will be glorious. The world will unite.

  • csb

Zachary's right, "As if you couldn't love him any more."
