"DON'T Be Afraid of the Dark"? Isn't being afraid of the dark pretty reasonable when you're in a horror movie?

Indiana Blart and the Menagerie of Cheese

Terrence Howard doesn't look happy. In fact neither does Paddy Wilson. Reactions to Liv Tyler still acting methinks.

Is that monkey taking a crap in the Zookeeper poster? Guess that movie should get used to getting crapped on.

Posted by: Dingle Berry at May 10, 2011 11:30 AM

"Startlingly up-to-date"

That's a hell of a review to receive for your newly-debuted documentary. You should definitely make sure that one's on the poster.

The guy in Father's Day looks like Sean Lennon with an eye patch.

Posted by: Melody Be at May 10, 2011 11:36 AM

"Ironclad" isn't a comedy?

Come on.

No, really.

Come on.

(Pajiba made me see Emma Roberts' face again)

Posted by: Jay at May 10, 2011 11:36 AM

I don't know anything about Ironclad, but that is one hell of a cast.

Posted by: fracas at May 10, 2011 11:39 AM

Anna Faris' movie is rated R. This gives me a small measure of hope.

Posted by: admin at May 10, 2011 11:46 AM

Ironclad not a comedy? But... they even have an awful comedy-ish tagline.

Posted by: Matthijs at May 10, 2011 11:48 AM

Anna Faris looks fairly calm for having a giant "1" up her ass.

Posted by: Paultera at May 10, 2011 11:52 AM

The Anna Faris Movie, "What's Your Number", is based on a novel by Karyn Bosnak. You may remember her from the site savekaryn.com. She paid off $20,000 in debt by getting 20,000 people to send her a dollar.

Posted by: TheOtherGreg at May 10, 2011 11:58 AM

Nah, Ironclad isn't trying to be funny, but Dustin sure is. We get that the Baby Goose has replaced RyRey in your heart, but that Drive poster is only sort of badass, it belongs right above 30 Minutes or Less. After that, the posters can GTFO.

Posted by: RobP at May 10, 2011 12:00 PM

PLEASE tell me you mean you started with the badd-assest and went down from there. Not the way you should go, but it's the only way to explain the order and keep my sanity.

I have to say, the movie may suck (although I try to remain hopeful) but that Conan poster IS pretty damn bad ass!!

Posted by: Arco at May 10, 2011 12:00 PM

Yeah that first one's kind of ridiculous.

Posted by: Figgy at May 10, 2011 12:14 PM

The most disturbing thing I saw in those posters is that little Freddie Highmore is now grown up enough to star in a teen roncom. Was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory really that far back???

Posted by: Fredo at May 10, 2011 12:19 PM

You know what's badass about Don't be afraid thingy? I was a little kid when the Kim Darby version was on TV (yes, the annoying True Grit girl)and it scared the sheeeeiiiit out of my brother and me. Now they are re-making it and I'z a-skeert to see it -- not so much bcz of my childhood memories, but because Del Toro (creator of the Pale Man...brrrrr)is behind it all. So I guess I'll miss this Guy Pearce movie.

Also: Katie Holmes is a HUGE WTF Factor here. Really. Katie Holmes? Really?

Posted by: klingonfree at May 10, 2011 12:19 PM

Also, I watched the trailer for Conan before Thor this weekend, and the main guy doesn't look nearly as Neandertalish in the forehead when he's moving around. I don't know why they keep photographing him from that horrible angle where it looks like his forehead is eating his eyes.

Posted by: Figgy at May 10, 2011 12:19 PM

I don't care how ridiculous Ironclad ends up being, I'll probably go just to see James Purefoy in period clothing. I only wish he was wearing a toga again . . .

Posted by: Jen K. at May 10, 2011 12:21 PM

Figgy! Yes! I saw the trailer and I thought "He's hot as hell when he's not standing still."

Posted by: klingonfree at May 10, 2011 12:51 PM

Wait - Paul Giamatti in medieval battle armor? That needs to be MUCH higher on the list than that wimpy supermodel Conan.

Posted by: Meander at May 10, 2011 1:00 PM

I still call it: I think Conanis gonna kick some ass and you're gonna love Momoa. Five bucks down.
Now: "Anonymous = DaVinci Code" in my opinion.

Posted by: Odnon. at May 10, 2011 1:27 PM

The TROLL HUNTER poster rocks. I saw the movie at the Fantasy Filmfest Nights in Frankfurt, highly recommend it! It's super funny and like nothing you have ever seen before. A true jewel...

Posted by: Jakob Montrasio at May 10, 2011 2:04 PM

The recent preview and that poster make me really want to see CONAN. Like on the midnight Thursday night showing. With a crowd of drunk and stoned teenagers.

Posted by: Sean at May 10, 2011 2:05 PM

If there's not a bounty on Kevin James head, there needs to be.

Posted by: Mrcreosote at May 10, 2011 2:20 PM

Any of the posters that said "in 3D!" on them got dropped to the bottom of my list automatically.

Posted by: Amanda6 at May 10, 2011 3:55 PM

Ironclad?
How the fuck did I not know about this? How did I not know about a movie headlined by Purefoy and co-starring Giamatti? Get-OUT.

Posted by: Dave at May 10, 2011 7:12 PM

My thoughts exactly, Fredo.

Posted by: Shibuyama at May 10, 2011 9:33 PM

Am I the only person who thinks Anonymous is the most badass out of all of these posters?
