Effusive praise! Ungentlemanly squeal. Exclamation. Exclamation. Harder. Harder. Exclamation. Say his name: Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds). Yes! Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg). Yes! Brynden "The Blackfish" Tully (Clive Russell). Yes! Jojen and Meera Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Ellie Kendrick). Yes! Yes!

Khaleesi's Flying Dragons!

*eyeballs roll in the back of head*

I turned a friend on to Game of Thrones. She didn't like it. We aren't friends anymore.

  • HOW ABOUT THE DAGGER SCENE IN THE TRAILER, READERS-OF-THE-BOOK?

  • disqus_4voFLh2iv7

Best Tyrion moment in the book. With the exception of the toilet scene, of course. But that's for season 4.

  • The Heretic

    Indeed.

    "Did not shit gold."

    Priceless.

Was that Theon with the bag over his head?? I really hope they show him and Ramsay interacting this season.

  • Lovely Bones

I'm certain they will. You can't just have a main character disappear for at least two straight seasons, and certainly not after the fantastic performance Alfie Allen gave last year. I'm curious about what they're doing with "Boy," as played by Iwan Rheon. Without Ramsay's gambit being included in season 2, why would he be using an alias?

  • freetickles

I'm betting Ramsay will pretend to be a fellow prisoner at the Dreadfort, so we won't know who he is when he's introduced.

  • space_oddity

I only recently watched all of Misfits and now CANNOT WAIT to see Iwan Rheon in GoT

  • Lovely Bones

I just started the second series, but I adore Rheon as Simon. Simon's probably my favourite, tied with Kelly. I am not looking forward to the entire cast being recycled by the third series' end, though. .

  • Reek, it rhymes with leek

They could get away with Theon being out for an entire season. Part of what made his chapters so great in Dance was the transformation he went through. It's gonna be hard for the showrunners to transform Theon to Reek before our eyes. If they can pull that off... well I don't think I could like the show more than I already do, but that would be icing on the cake.

  • Reek, it rhymes with leek

Good question, I'm just hoping we get to see Theon's "escape" with Kyra. A scene mentioned only mentioned in the book.

  • Baobabble

    PERFECT THING IS PERFECT

although I just watched this like 17 times and I can't figure out where Jojen and Meera are hiding? Help?

  • Milly

Surely any GoT post with comments allowed must be tagged with 'Warning, there be spoilers ahead'?
In January, in order to be spoiler immune for the new series I decided to read all the books and I'm halfway through 'Blood and Gold' the events of which were ruined by someone's throwaway comment about the hardships of a family in a warming glow thread.

So please, to be decent individuals, please only talk about events already shown on the TV series, and not what the trailer shows.

  • Guest

Do what I did, before I read all the books. Don't read articles about seasons one hasn't watched yet. I also am currently doing this for Homeland and Boardwalk Empire and a few other big shows, which have been in my queue forever but which I haven't got around to seeing because I'm busy watching other big shows. I just...don't understand the impulse to tread where we know there be dragons.*

    *(See what I did there?)

  • confused

please dont talk about the trailer in the comments section of an article about the trailer! Wha??????

  • Milly

Not to not talk about it, but to preface any talk of upcoming events with a spoiler label.

That may be fair to those who have no idea what's coming up.

  • Meh, I've forgotten more than I remember so everything's a spoiler. If you're this devastated by accidental spoilers, it would behoove you to avoid such threads. The onus is on you, imo.

  • gnibs

    Calm down.

  • Seneschal

are you reading Song or Anne Rice novels?

  • Lovely Bones

They must be reading the version of Storm of Swords that's split into two separate books called "Steel and Snow" and "Blood and Gold."

  • Jezzer

    CHILLS. I HAVE THEM.

  • Maguita NYC

Nothing beats The Spider's voice with its gentle promises of dominion and revenge.

  • Muhnah_Muhnah

Also...the shields of Dany's eunuch army look like tits...teehee...

  • Weren't they supposed to be nekkid?

  • TheOriginalMRod

Okay, I totally thought that too...

  • Seneschal

after the cut the unsullied's nipple off, they used it as a template

  • I think you mean, used it to make a lampshade.

  • Seneschal
