I've seen Louis CK live on numerous occasions, and I love his comedy, but he does a tepid joke regarding the troops and he's on George Carlin's level? Uh, no. It's watered-down Doug Stanhope at best. Louis is getting a little braver, but he doesn't have the nerve to twist the knife, which is why he remains a few notches below Carlin, Hicks, and Stanhope.

  • Really, Joanna, a potato gag when Irish people are brought up?

For shame. You'll be hearing from my lawyer, after I finish my BUCKET OF POTATOES!

  • I watch Southland!

    No, I'm just kidding. I don't. But I will.

Glee was emotionally manipulative and horrible. I've continued watching the show, even after it lost all of its bite, but this episode was honestly traumatic for the sake of being traumatic, and in such an offensive way. No, it didn't say anything new, but I think that is precisely the most offensive part of it. If you're going to open this hugely emotional wound, you have to do it for a reason. There was no reason here - well no legitimate reason. Luckily I have a way of shutting that down. Off my DVR.

Spartacus: War of the Damned ended with one of the best finales in recent memory capping off a tight fantastic four season run.

For the record, Lost Girl is not produced by SyFy, it is merely being brought to the US by them. It's actually produced by the Canadian network Showcase, thank god, which means it's less likely to get canceled.
And it's 100% worth watching. Especially to any fans of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series or anything reminiscent of that. It's got a lot of the modern wit, character quirks, well choreographed action, and epic scale stakes that Buffy had.
So please don't judge it because it's "Syfy Shit". It's really a lot better than that, and you're missing out on one of the best kept secrets of modern television.

You know, you're not the first clever person to recommend it to me. I'll likely check it out this summer.

....Totally a dude. Thanks for the shout out! I'm all caught up with Southland now. Chaos was a brutal episode, just hellish but it was fantastic.

I love the Good Wife. The prospect of a new law firm with Cary, Alicia, and Kalinda at the helm rocks my world. I am even more excited about this new law firm plotline than the romantic triangles of the past. SO GOOD.

I can't seem to buy into the possibility of the new firm. I mean, I appreciate how they're kind of appropriately teasing it as a real possibility, what with putting Diane kind of on the way out and giving David Lee a bigger and more antagonistic kind of role, but still... it's CBS, you know? It doesn't seem like CBS would back that kind of play when they're so very, like, traditional and whatnot

That said, I absolutely hope Florrick, Agos and Associates happens. Because it clearly should, right? But if it does, Kalinda needs to bring new investigator girl, because I totally have a crush.
