Hey, this is pretty cool. A reddit user uncovered this 1983 video of Mark Hamill discussing George Lucas’ plans for passing Luke’s lightsaber to the next generation — the director wasn’t too far off on his timeline, either.

Surprise, Hamill; 2014 you rethought your stance. Oh, and did we know about that lightsaber name?
