I don’t know how exactly I came upon the de Lancie news, but once I did, I went off on a little side trip to find out what other things he’d been up to. And that led me to a few other actors who seemed to have fallen off the far side of the stage. They’re still out there, doing things.
1. Ione Skye
You remember her from: Say Anything (1989).
What she’s been doing since:
Gas, Food Lodging (1992)

Upcoming in 2013: Return to Babylon A satirical peek at the silent film era—in the form of a silent film—with Skye, Jennifer Tilly, Maria Conchita Alonso, Tippi Hedren, Laura Harring and Debi Mazar portraying some of the period’s most famous actors (Clara Bow, Lupe Vélez, Gloria Swanson, Rudolph Valentino and Fatty Arbuckle).
2. Julian Sands

5. John de Lancie
You remember him from: “The Thorn Birds” (1983)
