Spain's vanity fair?So why is there an italian VF and another one in English?
The Penelope Cruz one is in English. Just pointing it out.
I think an intern did the boob-highlighting photoshop on Paz Vega. It looks like flesh colored spotlights.
Not only does Giselle look like a horse, but a swayback at that. It must be weird to be a supermodel and still not be as pretty as your husband. Is anyone else surprised that Melanie and Antonio are still married? I would have put big bucks on them lasting 3 years. Good for them.
Even that damn parrot is checking out Hayek's cleavage. You just can't fight it.Prediction: when this Universe is about to end, in the moment just before it all winks out of existence, a new one will be born out of Salma Hayek's cleavage.
And I am contractually obligated to say:
Penelope Cruz? Meh.
I am contractually obligated to provide this on Mr. Julien's behalf whenever Sofia Vergara comes into one's range of vision, "Good Lord!".
Interesting to see a cover model glamorously smoking (or at least pretending to smoke) a cigarette. I feel like that doesn't fly here anymore. Obviously on Mad Men it's commonplace, but I feel like magazines and ads nixed that.
The scary lady is the Duchess of Alba, the most titled royal in Europe. She's 85 and just married a 60 year old man.
Thank you . .
That is really excellent parrot work. He should get his/her own cover.
I just think it is cool that they have someone smoking on the cover of a magazine and it is not Cigar Aficionado.
That gold dress Cruz is wearing is amazing.
These are really interesting - they look more appealing than the US versions of Vanity Fair. But that Paris Hilton photo looks like an illustration. So weird.
Also - just noticed - are they saying Weisz is a lesbian icon? Si vous parlez espagnol, respondez, s'il vous plait.
They are quoting her saying "I want to be a lesbian icon". Which is really fine by me. Oh and Winslet's cover is in Italian so it's safe to assume it's from Italian vogue. Also Cayetano is one of the most popular bullfighters in the world.
Is the reason for this post mainly to show that non-Hispanics are on the covers or are you trying to convince me to subscribe to another magazine that I'm only going to read & look at once?
Except for Paris Hilton and the Banderases (Antonio I'm cool with, the rest, not so much), and that fright-wigged old lady, I approve.
Melanie Griffith looks the least plasticy she has in ages - kudos. Would that we could all age a la Helen Mirren.
Will you be doing this for other countries too, or are you just super bored today? :)
Okay, does anyone know who the weird-looking old lady with major bling is? My high school Spanish is rusty.
The Duchess of Alba. She's the most titled royal alive. Here's some info about her.
Ah, the Duchess of Alba. She's a trip. A little scary looking, but that's what plastic surgery will do to you when you're over 90. She just got married a few months ago to a 60 year man. I bet she's fun to party with.
Vergara looks stunning in a color other than blue? Who knew? Its the only color they put her in on Modern Family.
Salma Hayek's cleavage is so magnificent, I didn't realize she had a parrot on her shoulder.
Also, I want Scarlett Johansen's dress.
