Gary Oldman. Give Oldman a week and he'll be so deep in character that Gilliigan will never be let out of his house again.

  • RenoGruber

    Robert Downey Jr?

  • Megan

He looks like my old therapist.

  • Pat Sponaugle

I was stuck by how much Grohl looked like that photo of Vince. I mean it. That Foo Fighter's photo slapped me, yo.

  • "The 21st Century's Greatest Showrunner"

Seems odd that the untimely deaths of David Simon, David Chase, Aaron Sorkin, David Milch and Shawn Ryan didn't get more media coverage.

  • GDI

Spot on. Now I don't have to launch a tirade about the necessity of such a biopic.

  • Fuck Sorkin.

  • GDI

Hey now, Sports Night and West Wing were great. It's a shame that he's a real life Heisenberg, except more liberal, not as a murderous, but just as self-serving and possibly self-loathing.

  • I don't know, I heard he killed a hooker. She told him how much Studio 60 sucks.

  • DAVE GROHL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • delle

Whatever about playing Vince Gilligan, I'm saying YES straight across the board because every one of these gentlemen needs to be in more of everything...I would watch the hell out of these guys whoever they were playing!!

ps: If Michael C Hall actually looked like that while playing Dexter, he'd have a heck of a lot harder time convincing everyone around him that he's not a serial killer.

  • emmalita

I'd rather just watch Vince Gilligan talk.

  • jeremyhyler

gary oldman would be a good but he older and too thin.

  • Gaius

    Haha, Aiden Gillen definitely!!
Every time I see a picture of Vince Gilligan, my first thought is always that Littlefinger sure can produce a damned fine show!

  • JFD108

Agreed. Hodgman. When Colbert interrupted the Breaking Bad interview with Cranston on Charlie Rose as part of his Daft Punk bit, I wondered why John Hodgman was sitting at the table too. It was Gilligan.

  • Ted Zancha

Yes! I sat for the longest time trying to figure out why Hodgman was just sitting in on that interview. Of course I only noticed him after the third time watching. We couldn't get over Colbert's face after he invited Cranston to dance.

  • aidan

no Josh Brolin? Thats who I always see

  • Daniel Lewis

    John Hodgman. That is all.

  • Long_Pig_Tailor

Yep. All other suggestions are moot.

  • emilya

it's a moo point, you know, like a cow's opinion...

  • foolsage

Perhaps we ought to convene a moot to discuss the issue.

  • A kingsmoot?

  • foolsage

A cowsmoot perhaps. We can muse over moos at the moot.

  • Mrs. Julien

    You're a moot.

  • foolsage

I got yer moot right here.
