There’s nothing going on today. We’ll have a few more posts coming up, including a Prince of Persia review, but there’s not a lot otherwise going on on the Friday before Memorial Day. Those of you stuck in an office are probably killing time and waiting for the boss to let you go at noon, if you’re lucky. And since there’s nothing going on for either side of the website/reader equation, here’s something to help you kill time this morning: Ten Japanese Commercials Featuring American Celebrities. This is pretty cool--it's the ultimate test of douchebagginess. Where once there was confusion, there is now a simple and incontrovertible test.

So, if you're a celebrity and want to be absolutely certain whether or not you're certifiably a douchebag, simply travel to Japan and film a commercial. If said commercial is holy-sweet-fancy-fucktard idiotic, well then by god you are offcially and undeniably a douchebag. The evidence is clear in the cases of Nic Cage and Kiefer Sutherland. In the case of Travolta, I didn't want to believe it because I've liked some of his work, but the evidence is overwhelming. Travolta, according to this test, is clearly a douchebag.
