Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

How many of these are real production companies, and how many are just bogus structures set up to minimize tax and maximize revenue for a star?

  • e jerry powell

Okay, I gotta see who didn't know that DeVito was a partner at Jersey Films. C'mon, now, that goes all the way back to Reality Bites.

  • ViciousTrollop

Nicolas Cage looks like he's auditioning for the role of middle aged Loki in that picture.

  • alwaysanswerb

I'm not sure that he isn't

  • Fabius_Maximus

    That would be AWESOME.

  • Maguita NYC

I really love how you've picked the appropriate pictures there @Jodi. Representing each actor's true "body of work" (with the exception of Nic Cage... But then again, he did win an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, and I'd rather not see him in a bikini).

Also, Zac Effron... When did that boy get chest hair?

  • e jerry powell

He has it on a rent-to-own basis.

  • Jezzer

Okay, I kinda love Jessica Biel, so I kinda love that she has her own production company and that she named it "Iron Ocean." I like to think she paid the iron price for it, rather than the gold price.

  • Frank Booth

    So very well done.....

  • Bert_McGurt

So many dumb, pretentious f*ckin' company names. You know they're extra full of themselves when Nickelbackolas Cage has one of the LEAST stupid names on the list.

  • Drew Barrymore. Flower Films is a commercial film production company founded by Drew Barrymore in 1995 with Nancy Juvonen. Flower Films has produced ten movies and several television shows to date.

  • Puddin

I also enjoy the fact that Kelsey Grammar has produced several BET television sitcoms.

  • e jerry powell

I don't know that I necessarily enjoy the shows themselves...

"Girlfriends" was supposed to be a black "Sex and the City" but quickly turned into a black, female "Seinfeld." I don't know what "The Game" was supposed to be, other than an attempt to keep at least one of the Mowry sisters gainfully employed with a loose comic adaptation of "Footballer's Wives" or a scripted version of "Basketball Wives."

    OK, this explains a lot.
