I presume that most of you Pajibans know John Hodgman and Jonathan Coulton, those twin princes of nerdom. Friends from college, John, the author and comedian, and JoCo, the musician and comedian, have collaborated on a number of projects including Hodgman’s 2008 book tour for “More Information Than You Require.” Here’s a charming video of them shuckin’ and jivin’.

The truth is, I find Jonathan Coulton always and without fail entirely entertaining. John Hodgman I find spotty at best. I’m gonna sling two more JoCo videos at you in the hopes that any of the remaining hold outs will crumble in the face of his golden pipes and nerdy content. Songs about zombies and monkey/pony monsters? Come on!!!

Re: Your Brains

Skullcrusher Mountain

Okay, okay. Enough of that. That was one long stall because the real reason for this post is to share with you a game Coulton and Hodgman like to play with each other. I can’t believe I’m doing this, but here goes. The Johns like to come up with film titles that sound like they could be euphemisms for poop. Yup, that’s what I’m writing about today, folks. Poop. They can’t all be diamonds. So to get you started:

1) Five Easy Pieces

2) Operation Dumbo Drop

3) The Longest Yard

4) The Expendables

5) Brown Bunny

Joanna Robinson blames Optimus Rhyme for bringing this game to her attention. Unless you cats dig it it, then I’ve never heard of no Optimus Rhyme and this was all me.
