Sorry, this post is goddamn creepy. I can't look at it without imaging it's the same stalkerish photographer hiding in the bushes at every Affleck family outing.

I thought we decided that Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof were the most adorable family, especially since Alyson is the most adorable person ever. So even though he seems adorable on his own, Alexis doesn't have to do much. And I just don't see it from Jennifer Garner.

I might be wrong, but I remember reading on The Buffster ages ago that Alyson Hannigan was the one that effectively ended Amber Benson's job on Buffy. She looks cute, but I don't think she's all that cuddly. On the other hand, if you've listened to the first season of Alias commentary, then you know that Jennifer Garner is pretty lovable.

A couple of those pics were from the July 4th parade in Pacific Palisades, one of the great versions of a small town parade anywhere, and the paparazzi were incredibly rude and appalling. It's great that these two try to have a somewhat normal life, but that has to get old after a while.

You take one look at Ben Affleck with his daughters, and you know he loves the HELL out of those kids. That, right there, is what we need more of.

I like how they dress their kids in actual kids' clothes instead of having them look like tiny mobile shop mannequins. It's eerie to see a little kid dressed in clothes similar to mine.

Gwen Stefani's kids' clothes weird me out. Kids are not natural fashionistas.

At least these seem like a real family, unlike Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who just seems to be collecting more and more kids.

I think a big part of why they're adorable is because they don't exude that celebrity "otherness" in their pics. If they didn't possess some of the most recognizable faces in the world they would look like any other family that was on an outing- camping, going for lunch, etc.They're not bedecked in jewels, their hair isn't done is some $5,000 designer style that belongs on a Paris runway, and they aren't behind the wheel of a Maserati drinking Patron from the bottle. They just look like a regular family , and to our jaded, TMZ-glazed eyes that's a truly novel thing.

Yeah, but I get that Ryan is saying. They don't, like say, Suri Cruise, go around in a $5000 pair of shoes with heels. They just look...normal. Rich, but normal. Which is pretty refreshing.

Having a magnificent home doesn't detract from the fact that they appear to live a "normal" life in the public eye. Many (if not most) celebrities don't manage that. They just go off the deep end of indulgence in an overtly public way.

I usually don't give much of a shit about actors' private lives and families, but man oh man, are these people adorable! I just love that they don't name their kids things like "Jeepney" or "Monsoon".

It's the Boston upbringing. Affleck, Damon and Wahlberg's kids all have normal names. We don't allow that silly celeb ego nonsense around these parts. Other MA natives with normal kids names...Bridget Moynihan, Matt LeBlanc, Conan O'Brien, Amy Poehler, Steve Carrell, Denis Leary.
