That photo of Depp kissing Winona's nose is adorable. I find him less detestable at the moment. But, I'm sure he'll ruin it soon with some floppy ensemble.

Man, I've been in one of those relationships before and I don't get the appeal. Like... at all. They're terrible. They drive you absolutely crazy. Admittedly, my boyfriend is the same guy I had said tumultuous insane relationship with, but after not speaking to each other for over a year and simply trying to reconnect as a means of making peace after we both had time to deal with our own personal demons, we are now quite happily (more than happily) involved in a very (read as VERY very very) normal, balanced, relationship. We've both changed and grown up a shit load and have actually managed to go about this for going on a year now (which is the longest we'd ever been involved previously) without any kind of crazy, unbalanced, hectic and obscene incidents.

So yeah.

I would never change happy balanced relationship for passionate and intense relationship ever.

I tend not to like the phrase "meant to be together" - it's never really made sense to me. Kinda like "soulmates" - an pseudo-romantic teenage-lust -fueled concept.

I will say, though, that Depp/Ryder as a pair make so much sense.

Every now and then my husband and I will be watching something that depicts a particularly PASSIONATE! and TUMULTUOUS! relationship, and I'll be like, "Do you ever wish we were more like that?" and he'll be like, "No way," and I'll be like, "I agree."
