Leelee Sobieski. I remember when her name was actually spoken in movie trailers "Starring Leelee Sobieski, mostly because it's an odd name... but she was pegged to be the new 'It Girl.' Her career completely flatlined and before you know it, she was in Uwe Boll movies and getting kicked by Nic Cage in Wicker Man.

Who was it that was trying to make Sobieski happen? I forget.

Jennifer Tilly played something like the Geena Davis in "Earth Girls..." part in the lesser known "Remote Control." Her best line -- "I want to do it again." -- is burned into my brain.

Really, her delivery was awesome, with a kind of emphatic bounce that few can master.

Well, Jennifer Tilly apparently does pretty well on the pro poker circuit (no joke). And I think some of the women had kids. That tends to eat up a lot of time, from what I hear.

I saw her on Broadway a couple of months ago. Show wasn't great, but you know, she's keeping herself busy.

I mean, no 4AM call times. Poker players don't roll out of bed until ten-ish. Now sleeping with her boyfriend (poker pro Phil Laak) would give me pause. I still like to think of Tilly shacked up with Gershon somewhere.

I read an interview with her a couple of months ago. She got burnt out on film altogether and had no interest in the Hollywood rat race, so she finished school and concentrated on theater because she genuinely loves acting.
