    Wow! So there were more female senators (20) in 2013 then there were females directing films in 2013?! That is fucked up.

  • Actually, there were plenty of women directing films. According to the New York Film Academy, roughly half of the directors at Sundance in 2013 were women. What's not happening is films directed by women being picked up for distribution.
