And, I'm going to keep it that way.

Awww....Ace Ventura used to be a fat kid. He obviously loved cake just as much as he loved animals.

Posted by: PissBoy at June 17, 2009 3:14 PM

Of all of them, the "Ace Ventura Jr" one has to win. That poor kid. He reminds me of Cartman during one of his 'fantasy' episodes. Plus, you just know that film's been haunting him ever since. Shouldn't child actors have, like, parents and agents and whatnot to make sure they never sign up to stuff like this?

That Ace Ventura abomination made me pull two fingernails.

Not mine, either.

Shhh, I love you, Grandma...

I am sad to admit I knew of #4 and #5. My kids watched Home Alone #4 while I was in the room. Spoiler: It is about a young boy who foils robbers with home made booby traps.

How do we not know about Ace Ventura, Jr? Was this not covered on Pajiba already?

Is this a test to see if we're regular readers? Do I pass? Where's my cookie? Is it in my browser? I heard someone say there was cookies in my computer once, but I ripped that whole thing apart and I didn't find anything but mouse poop.

Mousehunt 2: Mouse POOP

Hey, my dog auditioned for Van Wilder 3 last summer. She didn't get the part, but my friend's dog did.

See? You *really* didn't know that straight-to-DVD gem existed.

Reading 'Ace Ventura, Jr.' made me choke on my water and go into a five minute long coughing/laughing fit that nearly made me fall out of my chair and kill myself. Augh.

Posted by: figgy at June 17, 2009 3:54 PM

I saw the DVD of Ace Ventura, Jr. while I was out shopping and audibly shouted "What the fuck?" in the middle of the store. The clerks were oddly understanding about it.

Posted by: Jeremy Feist at June 17, 2009 3:56 PM

Wow, a film must be bad when the preview hypes the bonus features. "Ace Ventura Jr. may suck, but hey, there's like other stuff on the dvd, like the fat kid messing up lines."

Truth in advertising.

Here's a review of Christmas Vacation 2 (with screencaps, synopsis, and bitching):

And no, it's not multiple pages. I don't know why they needed Page1 in the URL.

I'll be back later...I have to go burn my eyes out.

Posted by: DeistBrawler at June 17, 2009 5:04 PM

The only redeeming quality of #3 in my opinion is that the villains have the same last name as me.

Posted by: JapJay at June 17, 2009 5:10 PM

Oh...Oh my....

I've actually seen Home Alone 4. Well, pieces on TV. Maybe it was just the trailer. But I had buried that memory deep.

Posted by: alphawhiskey at June 17, 2009 5:15 PM

Is that French Stewart?!

Posted by: Amy at June 17, 2009 5:20 PM

The Fuck? Ace Ventura Jr?
I just puked onto the keyboard. And then that puke, puked.
Are they going for Jim Carrey crossed with John Candy?
"Follow the scent" it said at some point.
I say "follow the stink".
*shudders and dies*

Posted by: Odnon at June 17, 2009 5:38 PM

I've actually heard of all of these.

*Hides in Shame*

Posted by: Kamikaze Feminist at June 17, 2009 6:39 PM

Ohhhhh no. You're not gonna get me this time. I'm not clicking on ANY of those links! That "Dead Snow" viral video a few weeks ago nearly killed me. These can't be any better.

Posted by: Melissa at June 17, 2009 6:42 PM

Yes, that is the great French Stewart co-starring in Home Alone 4!

Posted by: Mr.Vlach at June 17, 2009 8:01 PM

Is it sad I actually knew of ALL of these? Then again, I work in a video rental place, so whatever. The only downside is I have to watch the trailers for shit like this CONSTANTLY REPEATING DAY AFTER DAY PLEASE KILL ME

Posted by: Hellajet at June 17, 2009 8:50 PM

I take it you have never come upon a DVD of Carlita's Way starring one Eva Longoria (avant Parker). I've never watched it-that would entail actually purchasing it. But I have come upon it.

Posted by: Az at June 18, 2009 12:18 AM

sadly, not only did I know about the Ace Ventura and Carlito's Way ones, but my ex actually rented and watched the Carlito's Way sequel because he's an idiot like that. I refused to join him because I'm not. Other straight-to-dvd sequels he has watched despite my common-sense warning that they would be shit: Hollow Man 2 ("But Christian Slater is in it! It has to be decent!") the Crow: Salvation ("It has Kirsten Dunst!") The Fly 2 (I watched that one with him. And I cried over the damn dog because I am that pathetic.) He also insisted on renting the Lost Boys sequel. He made me leave the room for that one because I wouldn't stop making fun of it.

Posted by: s. pisaster at June 18, 2009 12:41 AM

Anybody else feel bad for the animals that are cast in these horrible straight to DVD shit-fests (ala Ace Ventura)??? Not like they actually have a chance to read over the script or anything. Just because they have no voice doesn't mean they should be subjected to shit movies.

There ya go PETA, something else to fight over.

Posted by: ashes at June 18, 2009 2:33 AM

Mocking PETA = 100 pound dog laying me out just now. Fuck you karma.

Posted by: ashes at June 18, 2009 4:01 AM

How about the Highlander Sequeals?

There are 3 Highlander Sequeals! Who the hell has even seen Highlander 2?

Posted by: RonnyK at June 19, 2009 12:02 AM

Did not know about #3 or #1. But, i unfortunately watched Carlito's Way 2. No exaggeration, THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN. I didn't even finish it, and I usually watch all movies through to the end.

Luiz Guzman is in it, but plays a different character than the original. WHAT?
