I don't want kids, but I would totally spawn with Ewan McGregor. I've decided we'd name our daughter Suborn Perjury McGregor. Isn't that a nice name?

Posted by: Kate the Great at May 9, 2010 9:45 AM

Kate: Do you know that "Ewan", in my language, means "I dunno"?

*shrugs* I've just always found that interesting.

Posted by: ilikepie at May 9, 2010 10:19 AM

Really - REALLY ...?

I have to actually add this one myself even though you hinted him in the actual picture of the post ... sloppy work ...

Direct quote from this morning after giving MomGift 2010:

"Oh, you didn't have to do that!"

"Well, ma, I wasn't gonna get you flowers I know you don't dig that stuff"

"Yeah really, what the fuck am I gonna do with that shit? Flowers? Fuck that!"

Yep, my mother.

Posted by: D-Day at May 9, 2010 10:59 AM

Awesome! I mean, as awesome as it can be without Krasinski admitting that he loves me and wants to dump that hooer Emily Blunt so he can be with me instead, while we make really tall and gorgeous babies with red hair and maybe some with brown hair. Great job, rep!

Posted by: Pinky McLadybits at May 9, 2010 11:37 AM

Nice, nice. But throw in Idris Elba...and pie. Don't ask. Just go with me on this one.

Posted by: greer at May 9, 2010 11:38 AM

Forget the flowers. I learned a long time ago if you’re bringing flowers you’d better have an envelope attached to it. These days on Mother’s Day when I go see mom I feel like I’m going to a sit-down, her and her fucking envelopes.

Nice picture spread Rowles, but you could have reached out to the sisters and thrown in a brother, never mind I’m just teasing.

Posted by: Pookie at May 9, 2010 11:41 AM

Thank you, thank you for this delightful treat! Soooo much better than a sappy greeting card (which they always forget to get anyway).

Posted by: flickfan at May 9, 2010 12:05 PM

Is that timothy olyphant in the last picture?

Posted by: Mokey at May 9, 2010 12:22 PM

This is GRAND. But it could've been a lot longer...and more colorful, frankly.

Next time get some ladies to do it.

Posted by: Jerce at May 9, 2010 1:06 PM

Yesssssssssssssss!

Posted by: Deedee at May 9, 2010 1:08 PM

hey guys - I actually did it on a whim - a ten minute whim and Dustin was awesome enough to post it...it's my bad for just skimming the surface.

Posted by: replica at May 9, 2010 1:13 PM

Thanks for the sweet taste of mancandy on Mother's Day.

My sweet husband does Mother's Day cocktails for the neighbor ladies after they put their snotmunchers to bed. He's a good guy and I am lucky to have birthed his minions.

Posted by: wsapnin at May 9, 2010 1:55 PM

Replica IS a lady, Haters. I think it is a LOVELY list. Rather than shitting all over it, add your own links. Sharing can be FUN!

Posted by: Lindsey with an 'e' at May 9, 2010 3:03 PM

Thanks Replica. That was a lovely surprise. I really appreciate Idris Elba and Gael Garica Bernal. Don't usually swoon over Ewan but my my that picture is nice.

Posted by: Nimue at May 9, 2010 6:13 PM

Nice picture spread Rowles

Way to be paying attention...

Posted by: Xtreme at May 9, 2010 6:21 PM

*Looks at picture of Idris Elba*

Thanks Replica. Now I'm off to find that pie.

Posted by: greer at May 9, 2010 6:37 PM

You know what would be even better than a photo of Idris Elba? A video with him speaking in his native accent. Rwoar!

*shrugs* I've just always found that interesting.

Posted by: ilikepie at May 9, 2010 10:19 AM

Huh, that is interesting. I have a son named Ewan.

Posted by: lainiefig at May 9, 2010 6:59 PM

ilikepie My friend Nick discovered, on a European tour, that his name happened to be 'fuck' in the language of the country he was in at the time (I think it was Egypt). Caused some amusement at check-in, I'm told.

Posted by: ScienceGeek at May 9, 2010 7:35 PM

Mmmm. I'm not a mother, but I totally just ogled these pretty pretty men anyway. Beautiful list, Rep!

Posted by: meaux at May 9, 2010 8:16 PM

Replica, I love you. Happy Mother's Day to you & all the other Moms on Pajiba!

P.S. Who's the hottie with the Japanese caption?

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at May 9, 2010 8:32 PM

The one with the Japanese caption is Rain, which is ironic because he's Korean. And the Japanese is incorrect in itself. But these pictures definitely make me not care about any of that.

Posted by: Shibuyama at May 9, 2010 10:04 PM

Thanks, Shibuyama. (And I agree, it's easy to overlook a mistake when it's a pic of a gorgeous guy.)

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at May 9, 2010 10:15 PM

Yes please!

Posted by: webelos8 at May 9, 2010 10:27 PM

Thanks, Happy Mother's Day!

Posted by: Mebe at May 10, 2010 12:28 AM

Actually, ILIKEPIE, Ewan is the Anglicization of:

EOGHAN
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Irish, Scottish, Irish Mythology
Pronounced: O-in (Irish, Scottish), YO-in (Irish, Scottish) [key]
Possibly means "born from the yew tree" in Irish, though it is possibly derived from EUGENE. It was borne by several legendary or semi-legendary Irish figures, including a son of Niall of the Nine Hostages.

Wowwwwwwwwwww!!!Recently, I came across a hot dating and friends club.

--**Uni for medcu pid.com**--

There are many sassy ladies and handsome military guys seeking fun, friendship, love ,marriage and even more!!!!! Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.

Posted by: lily at May 10, 2010 4:50 AM

Wow. I actually gasped out loud when I scrolled to the pic of Ewan McGregor.

Posted by: Whorish Mouth at May 10, 2010 7:56 AM

"Depp" actually means "idiot/moron/fuckwit" in Austria. As in, "Du Depp, Edelweiß ist kein Österreichisches Volkslied!" ("You fuckwit, Edelweiss is not an Austrian folksong!")
This, of course, is the only reason Johnny and I share a bitter, unrequited love...

Posted by: cinekat at May 10, 2010 8:10 AM

Random though Gael (sp?) means horny in German. I think that is fitting considering that yummy picture.

Posted by: Nimue at May 10, 2010 9:09 AM

@nimue: "Geil", pronounced "Guile" means overly sweet (in terms of pastries) or hot (in terms of eyecandy)

Posted by: cinekat at May 10, 2010 9:18 AM

honey, bring in your new friends...your mama LOVES to meet them!!!!

Posted by: karen at May 10, 2010 9:25 AM

Awww, thanks! At least SOMEONE gave me something for my first mother's day!

Posted by: peachfish at May 10, 2010 9:40 AM

People always like celebrities, but I think those in uniform deserve more respect. They defend our country and safeguard our policy. Join M i l i t a r y f l i r t i n g.c o m, show your love and respect to our military heroes.

Posted by: lily at May 10, 2010 10:21 AM

How did I miss this????
Well, I can enjoy it any day for as long as I live.
Thanks, Rep!

Posted by: Sofía at May 10, 2010 10:31 AM

Replica is a lady? I really had no idea. But kudos to you ma'am.

And aren't we always supposed to live on wine and chocolate (and sex with Johnny Depp)? After all, that's the way I live.

(And how'd we get some weird military dating service troll on here?? Weird.)

Posted by: cydeleida at May 10, 2010 10:40 AM

@cinekat, well then my German Friend Eva lied to me. Cause that isn't quite what she explained to me when I was living there and people were saying it like every 5th word. I know it has a bunch of meanings. I realize the spelling is different.

Posted by: Nimue at May 10, 2010 10:51 AM

Olyphant actually means "in my pants" in...oh whatever, take off your pants, Olyphant!

Posted by: MG at May 10, 2010 11:13 PM
