    Good god, yes. When he told his "least favorite" daughter that all she had to do to make him happy was come home at the end of the day, it hit so close to home I cried like a baby.

    As much as the show was (IS!) cheesy and kind of awful, I always wished I had a boss like Gil Grissom. And I think one could argue that Jamie from Mythbusters is a rather Swanson-esque father figure to his crew. I would SO covet that man's approval (and also moustache).

    3rd bonus father (or foot-up-your-ass-er): Red Foreman.
