I gotta be honest with you, folks. I can’t stay off Twitter this morning. It’s one of those days where it feels like everything is going our way, and you just want to sit back and watch the White House collapse. This feeling will pass, I’m sure. Probably before the end of the day.
Anyway, I wrote a piece this morning outlining the damage inflicted by Rudy Giuliani on Fox News last night and this morning, but there are a lot of words, and it gets very confusing. This is a very simple, concise way to describe the last 12 hours or so, and it better captures the spirit of what’s going on.
Here's the moment Rudy Giuliani told Sean Hannity that "they funneled the [$130,000] through a law firm, and the president repaid it.” pic.twitter.com/XWGKE77Ysq

This is obvious, but still should be said: Giuliani’s reveal that Trump repaid Cohen $130,000 for hush money to Stormy Daniels renders the repeated denials to the American people from POTUS and his press secretary false and untrue.

Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA. These agreements are…..

…very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair,……

Aaaand he did it again. Explaining why Cohen paid the hush money to Stormy Daniels, #RudyGiuliani says:
— Caroline O. (@RVAwonk) May 3, 2018
"Imagine if that came out on October 15, 2016, in the middle of the last debate with Hillary Clinton."
So… yea, he just tied the payment directly to the campaign. pic.twitter.com/yiu3Zg7ZYO
Whatever happens @foxandfriends, please do not stop helping our case week in and week out by having Mr. Trump and Mr. Giuliani appear and make damaging stmts. You are truly THE BEST; where can we send the gift basket? #basta

Damn, Cohen shoulda paid Rudy to shut the fuck up.

.@Judgenap: "If Rudy wants the public to believe that @realDonaldTrump reimbursed Michael Cohen $130,000 and didn't know what it was for, didn't know that it was going to silence Stormy Daniels - that is unworthy of belief." https://t.co/c5Uq96olBt pic.twitter.com/Q580Fmtr7h

Who among us doesn’t occasionally accidentally reimburse somebody for the exact amount we don’t know we owe him?
