Nancy Pelosi gets a lot of guff from Republicans and, let’s face it, Democrats, too. Centrist Democrats think she’s too far left, while the Ocasio-Cortez wing of the party think she’s too centrist. But those from both sides of the Democratic Party have to agree that Pelosi gets shit done. She raises more money for Democrats than anyone. She whips votes better than anyone in the House, and today, she stood up to Trump like no one really ever has to his face.

In fact, after the meeting with Trump, Pelosi privately shaded Trump’s manhood.

Trump “must have said the word ‘wall’ 30 times,” the House minority leader said, according to multiple sources in the room.

“I was trying to be the mom,” she added, but “it goes to show you: you get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.”

And then, Pelosi went for the most sensitive part of Trump’s ego.

“It’s like a manhood thing with him — as if manhood can be associated with him,” she deadpanned. “This wall thing.”

Pelosi’s performance, in fact, made her a meme-worthy hero on social media today.

The Democratic Party talks about replacing Pelosi as House Speaker every two years, but here’s the thing: They’ve never managed to put forward anyone better or more qualified. If Pelosi keeps this up, it may be a long time before we see a new Democratic leader in the House.
