In his second year with Cannonball Read, vel veeter is again near the top of the leaderboard. One of his favorite reads this year (out of 453!) is Doris Lessing’s The Golden Notebook. "The structure, the writing, and the vision of this novel are absolutely brilliant. At times, the complexity of these three components can make this a difficult novel and even a frustrating one." Next week Cannonball Read will publish its round up of the best and worst reads of the year. What was your favorite book this year? (Cannonball Read 10)
