Pajiba Love

Not that I’d ever want to give Ashlee Simpson credit for anything (and I mean anything) — but I think to blame her for Fall Out Boy sucking is maybe a little unfair. (Agent Bedhead)

Jessica on the other hand… That woman is just a total man ruiner. (WIMB)

Chez explores some of the hottest babes of journalism. Come on though, I know he’s a guy and everything, but what — no Anderson Cooper? (Deus Ex Malcontent)

Q: What’s more awesome than a swing dancing Spidey and Mary Jane? A: Nothing. (Galley Slaves)

Mmm… Armpit Sausage… (Yeeeah!)

You know, I always says — I’d rather be dead than alive in New Jersey. (QuizLaw)

If you’re already tired of your Marshmallow Shooter (really? already?!) the Brookstone catalog offers an array of crap to show loved ones how much you just don’t care. (Hispanic! At The Disco)

I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but man — I feel sorry for stupid Madonna’s poor kids. (Celebitchy)

Hey kids! Holiday clips all week. The Reinfather, after the jump.

love the Reinfather, but I have to be picky. It was Sonny who was killed at the tollbooth, not Luca Brasi. They should have had Donner killed at the tollbooth, I guess that would be more accurate.

Odd how Madonna's issues with commercialism don't prevent her from living in an $11 million home. Also odd that her issues with poultry raising and slaughtering can't be addressed by the several sources of humanely raised and slaughtered poultry available in London's excellent farmer's markets. Also odd that I even care enough to write this post. And finally, could somebody please tell me what Hollywood/celebrity types have against dairy products? Take cheese for instance: a most natural source of protein and calcium and every day I see some famous person spewing rot about the dangers of dairy. I can't tell you how many people I have seen turn down wonderful artisanal cheeses because they are "lactose intolerant" despite the fact that the natural cheese making process removes virtually all but the minutest traces of lactose. I hope Madonna gets bent over double with osteoporosis in her continuing old age.

Wow, swing dancing to Michael Buble's "Spiderman", no less. Awesome. Now if only Tobey Maguire had done *that* dance during that godawful scene in the last "Spiderman" movie wearing that outfit with Eric Foreman in a dress, then all would be forgiven.

OMG! Those gift ideas were hi-larious! Whomever came up with that should totally be reviewing movies on Pajiba. Just sayin'.

The ruination of Hollywood can be traced to America's obsesion with these blond, anorexic, cunt showing bitches.

Madonna only has all those "rules" for her kids because she doesn't have to enforce them - the nanny staff does. If she were like the rest of us regular folk shlepping out an existence of cubicle commuting (or [insert schleppy job here]) punctuated by meal prep, laundry & clutter migration, she'd be stuffing them with poison like cheese, chicken and salt, too!

Hmph.

Oh, Manny. You so crazy.

I also have a problem with Madonna's issues with consumerism when tickets to her concerts can't be had for less than a couple hundred dollars. Even for the nose bleed seats. And the way she's looking now, if you add osteoporosis to her it's truly is a frightening picture.

It's a shame that Spiderman wasn't as good a dancer as Mary Jane, since that routine would have kicked ass with a more skilled male partner. I mean, Mary Jane wasn't exactly at pro level, either, but at least she had good technique.

Wow. I'm critiquing a swing routine set to Michael Buble's version of Spiderman. I'll leave the computer now.

Man, now I want to go out and take a swing dancing class. Wee!

Why on earth would you ever deny your children the joy that cheese (and milkshakes) can bring unless there was a legitimate medical reason? If one of those kids had a slice of pizza they'd be violating like, 8 of mom's rules and there's something obscene about that.

Posted by: Rusty at December 17, 2007 6:37 PM

Madonna aka "world's biggest hypocrite" will just make those kids into some fucked-up human beings.

Just you watch.

Yay! It's about time someone else recognized the head spinning hotness of Jancee Dunn. She was pretty much the only reason I stuck with MTV2 for so long.

I feel so... validated.

Madonna's rigorous control over her kids' diets (enforced, as the above post states, by her army of nannies) proves my theory...people who are fanatics about their diet are serious control freaks. It makes them feel good to have power over what goes into their bodies. Resisting certain foods also makes them feel superior to others.
Think about the most strict vegan you know...are they not smug and sickly at the same time?

Posted by: numchuck at December 18, 2007 2:01 PM

And another thing along the lines of "if you are strict with your kids, they wind up pregnant and keeping their baby"...Plan B and RU486 are the best inventions EVER, quite easy to come by and relatively inexpensive. Add those to the pill and other bc methods, and one wonders how all these accidents happen. (Unless you don't believe in birth control or something lame like that)

Posted by: numchuck at December 18, 2007 2:07 PM

Those details about Madonna make my blood boil. Why is every American celebrity who moves to London a sanctimonious asshole (see Paltrow, Gwynnie)?

Okay, things that piss me the hell off, #371:

Women being blamed for their sport 'talent' boyfriend performing poorly. That has to be the biggest load of crap ever. It's misogynistic bullshit spouted by guys who can't face the fact that their hero screwed up. "Oh no, it can't possibly be his fault, the evil woman must have caused this somehow!" THE GUY FUCKED UP. It is Nobody's 'fault' but his own, and it makes me furious to see his girlfriend - whoever she is - blamed for that.
Let's go back to blaming Jessica Simpson for the things she IS responsible for. Like making crap films.
