Pajiba Love

Somebody compiled the Top TV Quotes of all time — noticeably absent: Tobias Funke’s “I Blue Myself,” and Barth’s “Dddyyyaaaaiiiii heard that!” from “You Can’t Do That on Television.” (TVgasm)

The Independent Spirit Awards have been announced — lots of well-deserved noms for Little Miss Sunshine and Half Nelson, but disappointingly, Brick is nowhere to be found. (The Film Experience) For the full list, see Oscar Watch.

I realize there aren’t a lot of football enthusiasts out in Pajibaland, but for those who are, this may be the goddamn funniest sports-related blog post I’ve ever read. (Kissing Suzy Kolber)

Three of my favorite guilty pleasures in one film — Ryan Reynolds, Jeremy Piven, and Ben Affleck. Smokin’ Aces looks like the best movie of Spring 2007. (Popoholic)

Crazy Right-Wing Nutjobs Say the Cutest Things. (QuizLaw)

The celebrity stork continues its assault on the wombs of starlets who have no business propagating. Its latest potential victim: Kirsten Dunst. (Celebitchy)

What the hell? "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country" does not belong in the same list as anything uttered by Emeril or the Fonz. And "good grief" was said by Charlie Brown well before he ever said it on TV.

I must share that on thesuperficial.com, Britney Spears is flashing her vagina and bum, and hanging out with Paris Hilton. It is frightening. Her dirty, scraggle-haired person makes me think, "If she only had a brain..."

I'm so glad the good people at Pajiba are recognizing Brick. I was shocked to see the noms for documentaries, as well. Never heard of any of the nominees, and there were several good docs that were not mentioned, like Deliver Us From Evil. In fact, I guess I missed the majority of nominees this year besides Lil Miss Sideways...Sunshine.
