I don't even think Tina Fey has to bother. They can just show footage of the real Palin: it's just as disjointed and just as funny in a scary kind of way.

Also, call me a prude, but getting a tattoo when one is presumably still breast-feeding is irresponsible. I don't care how much you trust your tattoo artist.

Dear God. I just lacerated my neck with splinters of strawberry cough drop laughing so hard from this gem "Trying to pander to the Florida voters...My two loves have always been Jews and Cuban food." Well played, Tina Fey. Well played.

Okay, I just need to get this out or else I'm going to go bugshit - the ad with Kath & Kim? Molly Shannon? Her nose? Dan Ackroyd? Nothing But Trouble? I guess what I'm trying to say is - her nose looks like a dick. Not as dicky as the dick Dan's donning, but a dick just the same. It's always weirded me out about her. Her pecker nose. That's it...

Have fun in the slammer, OJ! Whoo!! You somehow miraculously got away with murder, but managed to pull a dumb-ass stunt like this... Der. Seriously - DUH! I mean... guh - you know you got away with it - everyone in America knew. Couldn't you just spend the rest of your days thankful you were able to literally GET AWAY WITH MURDER? Wouldn't that make sense? You've really let me down, Orenthal - you let all of us down... Sigh...

For serious though, Cuban sandwiches are amazing. If/when I move back to Miami, I'm getting myself one of those cholesterol laden pieces of heaven muy rapido.

And it's kind of pointless to pander to live Florida voters. She should be going after the DEAD ones, since they vote at least as often as living people do. I wish I were kidding.

Good grief, the Palin links reminded me of a story in Nova Scotia's largest newspaper last week (linked to my name, if you're curious). A lady here in the province saw Sarah Palin's glasses on TV and thought they were so cool that she contacted the optician in Alaska and ordered identical frames.

And somebody actually thought this was newsworthy.

Reeeally slow news day, I guess....

Posted by: meaux at October 6, 2008 12:40 PM

Whoops, forgot the link. Sorry to leave y'all on pins and needles there.

Posted by: meaux at October 6, 2008 12:41 PM

Meaux:

Apparently those are the best selling glasses in US right now. They can't keep them in stock anywhere.

Posted by: PaddyDog at October 6, 2008 12:51 PM

Meaux,

I love your new blog & tried to leave you a 'congrats' message on there last Friday, but I screwed it up.

I've put 'Happy Apathy' on my Faves list and look forward to reading more. I didn't think anyone could entertain me with details on the mating habits of seabirds - you proved me wrong.

Posted by: TMax at October 6, 2008 12:52 PM

OJ is an idiot, he should have taken his money and moved outside the country.

At least now, the whining will stop, Goldman will get nothing, and we can go back to only whites getting away with murder.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at October 6, 2008 1:07 PM

you made a little typo: change that last period to, the way God and the GOP intended, dontcha know.

Now that O.J.'s back in jail, who's going to continue the hunt for Ron and Nicole's real killer?

Lots of golf courses still to check...

Posted by: clocker at October 6, 2008 1:56 PM

I really wasn't interested in expressing my thoughts about the O.J. verdict, but it was something that Skitts said that caught my eye. Why was it that so many white people were obsessed with the O.J. verdict, but somehow didn't show that same obsession when blacks were being lynched, or put in jail for shit that they didn't do, or for just simply being black? Comically, in the eyes of white people the murder of two white people by a black man is somehow greater than the damn near systematic destruction of a whole group of people. When O.J. was found innocent of murder, white people finally found out what shit tastes like. The same shit black people have been eating since we got off the boat. And please spare me your comical rants about how far blacks have come. The facts are we have a black man running for president with an intellect that few can match and was the first black elected to be President of the Harvard Law Review, we're talking about fucking Harvard, not Alaska State but Harvard. Let's not even talk about Michele Obama with her Princeton and Harvard mouth. And what are the majority of whites going to do? I'll tell you. You are going to vote for some women that went to five different schools in about eight years, and whose sweet Lil old teenage daughter got knocked up by her teenage arctic hillbilly boyfriend, if only she showed the same tenacity at not getting pregnant that Todd showed in winning all those snow mobile races she wouldn't be on the business end of a shotgun wedding. Oh did I mention that her husband is a member of a secessionist party. Fuck O.J, I couldn't give a shit what happens to him, but don't act like all is well in America just because he's finally behind bars.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 2:24 PM

Sorry, Jay, but the Palin-spec frenzy appears to be all too real. I heard a story on NPR within the last couple of weeks where they went to Japan and interviewed the guy who designs those frames. He's a professor at a Japanese university (in design? ophtamology? I tuned in in the middle and didn't hear the whole thing), and he thanked her for giving his private company such a spike in sales. He then went on to say that he really didn't like her politics and that he would vote for Obama if he could...

I'm also beyond sick of her "hockey mom" and "Joe Sixpack" propaganda bullshit. She and Todd have earned almost $300,000 in the last two years; while that's not "rich" by any stretch of the imagination (especially for a family of seven with a special needs child), it does put them in the top 5% of U.S. incomes. Joe Sixpack, my ass.

Pookie, I could give a shit if OJ was black, white, off-white, red, yellow, ochre, grey, mocha, or albino - I'm tickled pink that a murderer who got away with murder, is getting busted for doing something dumber than shit. I didn't really give a shit about it when it happened - but I do think it's pretty fucking chuckaliscious that he's headed toward the big house now. "Hey, I'm OJ! I got away with murder! Here's me fake-stabbing a cameraman! HA! Here's me on my show "Juiced" pretending to buy a white Bronco! HAW! Here's me writing a book "If I Did It"! Hold... on... (can't breathe, I'm laughing so hard) HAHAHAHAHAHAW! Here's me storming into a hotel room with gns and HAHAHAHAHAaaa...wha? Oh shit."

Again, could give a rat's ass if he's black. He's overstepped so many goddamed boundaries in the past ten years it's about time he got his ass handed to him. Period.

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at October 6, 2008 2:43 PM

And the hits just keep coming! Meaux, I love the blog, but I swear to godtopus if you post another story like that I'm going to gouge out my eyeballs and throw them in a blender! You'd really make my Monday if you hunted down that woman and brought a super-charged version of your fish-zapper with you. Bonus points for creative placement of electrical burns, double word score if you manage to effect an actual neurological change with prolonged Electro-Convulsive Therapy. Really, how the fuck can anyone be torn between the candidates??

Pookie, I see your point, but re OJ specifically I'm with Skittimus - I don't care who he is or what he looks like, he's been taunting karma for far too long and karma finally brought down the hammer.

Posted by: lordhelmet at October 6, 2008 2:48 PM

Pookie, the source of the outrage over the O.J. verdict for at least some white people had to do with the obvious purchase of justice by a celebrity figure (who just happened to be black). In fact, a small part of me was heartened to see that money and fame were bigger taints on the so-called justice system than race was (in other words, we're closer to equality when black people can buy justice too). I don't think there is enough money anywhere to buy the outcome this time, though. I'm not aware of any white people who pull off armed heists in a hotel in broad daylight and get away with it either, so regardless of anyone's feelings about O.J.'s past it's difficult to argue with the outcome of this particular case on its own merits.

Face it -- O.J. is a dirtbag. A black dirtbag. He'll join a prison population littered with a veritable rainbow assortment of dirtbags (scattered among the wrongly convicted indigent innocents, the non-violent victims of the alleged war on drugs, and the numerical majority white dirtbag population irrespective of the disproportionate share of black inmates relative to the general populace).

So no, not all is well in America. O.J. behind bars changes virtually nothing, other than to serve as a reminder of how long and hard the fall from grace can be -- especially under a media spotlight. And I still hold out hope that you'll be wrong about the majority of the white ballots being cast away from Obama...

Posted by: Che Grovera at October 6, 2008 3:08 PM

Pooks, the point with OJ Simpson is not black, white, pink, brown, or whatever other color you mentioned. The point is that the man is an insufferable jackass who got away with murder on what should have been an "open and shut" case simply because he is famous. I watched every minute of that trial because I thought I wanted to be a lawyer. I have never seen someone look so damned pleased as when they showed the shots of the dead Nicole Brown Simpson. The LAPD cemented their ownership of the most incompetent police department in the US and possibly throughout history.

You have some points, but using OJ to back them is a poor choice. OJ got busted for stealing DirecTv. He beat up his new girlfriend. He helped write a book called "If I did it". He deserves prison and will hopefully stay there for the remainder of his days. OJ is simply a blight on the human landscape and deserves whatever is coming to him. He is a piss-poor excuse for a human. This never was, at least for me, about racism. It was about celebrity and absolute incompetence on every level in the prosecution.

Skitts my friend you really do have a unhealthy preoccupation with O.J., I mean who can recite at a moments notice all of O.J.'s shenanigans? People make me laugh when they say they don't care what color a person is, weather he be black, white, red, yellow, green or purple. But there are only two colors that matter, well not exactly, you have three if you count the Chinese. Skitts, the hate you have for O.J. is not unlike the hate that young skywalker possessed. And I'm sure you're aware of what yoda said about hate, aren't you?

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 3:15 PM

Pookie, you forgot the brown people. That screws up your racial color wheel.

Posted by: Melody at October 6, 2008 3:21 PM

It takes some doing to have me and Pookie agree. But he most DEFINITELY highlights a point. If OJ had ALLEGEDLY killed "Shanneqwa Washington" or "Maria Rodriguez" none of you white folk would give a rat's ass.

I'm willing to bet you would even question if he was being fairly treated as well. Remember *white people* O.J. was YOUR favorite non-threatening NEEEEEEGRO, for YEARS.

Give me a fuckin' break.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at October 6, 2008 3:36 PM

Slim, I won't say that you are completely wrong about that. The media circus would have been a hell of a lot less annoying. Some pissed off LA commuter would have ran his 45 mph driving ass over on the 405 during the infamous "I am going to kill myself because I am Sooooo innocent" drive at rush hour.

The plain truth of the matter is that he, in most people's opinion, got off scot-free from 2 first degree murder charges. People might have forgotten about it eventually, but he has never allowed that to happen. He keeps toying with karma until it finally bit him in the ass and Johnny wasn't there to get him off.

I hope someone makes him a bitch his first week.

Posted by: Melody at October 6, 2008 3:51 PM

So Melody in your eyes the LAPD cemented their ownership of the most incompetent police department in US and possibly throughout history, and you probably also thought that the justice system was forever broken on that fateful day, all because a black man was found not guilty of murdering two white people? Honey drop the charade about this being about a celebrity getting away with murder and not about a black man getting away with murdering two white people. Because if this was simply about a celebrity getting away with murder we wouldn't be having this conversation. In the mean time Melody, by all means continue to try to convince yourself that this whole O.J. drama is not about a black man being found not guilty of murder, but about a celebrity being found not guilty of murder.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 3:54 PM

Remember *white people* O.J. was YOUR favorite non-threatening NEEEEEEGRO, for YEARS.

He's got a point. I sure did love him in those Naked Gun movies.

Nordberrrrg!

Posted by: Stacey at October 6, 2008 3:58 PM

Pookie, I have thought the justice system was broken LONG before OJ. The justice system in US is crap. The LAPD knew that they had a racially charged case on their hands. It had all the splashy hallmarks of a tabloid legend. Shoddy police work, officers who did not and could not properly do the job, and absolutely zero oversight by higher ups? Please. Mr. Cochran made them look like fools (and did a mighty fine job of it). The reason I call them incompetent is that they knew what the case was going to become and they went into it without a leg to stand on. OJ and his millions bought a fancy legal team and yeah, he got off.

Plain and simple: You kill a person, you go to jail. You don't parade around the fact you got off.

Posted by: Melody at October 6, 2008 4:03 PM

Pookster, the only reason I know of his dipshittery is because he promoted over half of it himself - his "Juiced" show, his book, his goofy-assed antics. I don't hate the guy (and no, BSlim, he isn't my favorite non-threatening NEEEEEEGRO, that honor goes to Arsenio), but I hate that he got away with it by paying for it and then had the audacity to prance around making a goddamed mockery of two murders. Shit, even if it wasn't him that did it, he's still a thoughtless shithead to make light of it. What, was he afraid he was falling out of the public eye and decided to write a book saying how he'd murder the two of them if he were the one to do so? Why the fuck would anyone do that? Hmm... Oh, I know - because he knew he couldn't get tried for the same crime twice. Like I said, I could give a shit about him being black. I think he's a smug prick. And don't give me any of that "If OJ had ALLEGEDLY killed "Shanneqwa Washington" or "Maria Rodriguez" none of you white folk would give a rat's ass." bullshit either. Saying something like that is just as fucking racist as anything else.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at October 6, 2008 4:27 PM

Another opinion here:

I hope this "karma" shit also comes around equally on 'the legend in his own mind' Phil Spector and that punk Robert Blake (or 'RB' for 'Rat Bastard', as I like to call him), two "famous" white guys who's crimes seem as equally blatant & almost as heinous as Simpson's was.

[And I'll never refer to that 3rd prick by his initials, like him and I were tight or something - it's 'Simpson', cold-blooded killer, that's all, no more, no less.]

PS: Thank God my hero Bill Shatner wasn't at home when his drunk-ass (ex?) wife died in his swimming pool awhile back. He'd surely have been "boldly taken" where many other poor inmates already have, don'cha know??

Posted by: TMax at October 6, 2008 4:27 PM

Robert Blake is another case that should have been open and shut. Instead he walks around free. Phil Spector should be in cell right next to them.

If you have enough money in the US, freedom is pretty damned cheap to buy.

I don't hate the guy (and no, BSlim, he isn't my favorite non-threatening NEEEEEEGRO, that honor goes to Arsenio)

Those two shitbirds should get theirs, too. Obviously, Spector did it. How's he not rotting in jail right now? Oh yeah. Money. Also, If he decided to write a book about how he "would" kill his wife, and then did something as ridiculous as bursting into a hotel room with a gun, and then got convicted for something completely unrelated, yeah. I'd be pleased as fucking punch.

"That reverse race-card BULLSHIT you are trying to pull..."

I'm not trying to pull shit friend - you made a racist remark and I happened to call you on it. When exactly was I being racist, hmm? Was it when I said I was glad a guy that got off on murder is getting jailed? Was it that? Get your fucking facts straight, BSlim.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 4:48 PM

Before this thing gets completely out of hand, I do wanna throw in with Pookie and Slim on at least one point.

The murder case against O.J. was flawed and essentially circumstantial, although plenty of people of all races have gone to jail under similar circumstances who didn't have the financial resources that O.J. did. Like I said in a previous post, it's mildly heartening to know that O.J. wasn't convicted -- ultimately that jury did the right thing within the framework of our system, and it truly would have been a travesty had O.J. been found guilty in spite of his legal team's efforts. That would have been a racist outcome.

Spector and Blake belong in cells adjoining Simpson's. Since the two white pieces of shit are older than O.J., the only question is whether the Grim Reaper gets them before their baser tendencies do them in. Honestly, douchebags who get to be that old and who continue to act the way these three do and who drive their point home with indiscriminate use of guns have no place in civil society. I have no use for any of them, and I'm done expending energy on the subject of what their outlandish and violent exploits mean for the state of race relations and justice in the U.S. of A.

Posted by: Che Grovera at October 6, 2008 5:07 PM

Che, nice post. If I read it right and you are saying that had OJ been convicted just because he was black, that would have been racist, then I agree with the statment. Had the case work been done properly or had he not had a multimillion dollar legal team, yeah, he would probably be in San Quentin, regardless of his guilt or not. He has done nothing since the trial to make me think that he is innocent and for that reason, I believe in his guilt. Not because he is black, but because he has done nothing but convince me of his inherent guilt. The case was flawed from the start and ultimately lead to his acquittal. The murder trial should have had no bearing on the judgment in this new case, but ultimately did because of the incessant media coverage of the original trial.

Che, I do have to make a correction. I don't know of anything that OJ used a gun for. Was there one in the robbery? I don't remember.

Posted by: Melody at October 6, 2008 5:15 PM

I can top the Palin spectacle craze.

My grandmother, bless her heart, watched the debate. The next day, her hair was different. It actually looked rather nice, with a side-swept bang and the rest in a bun. Then she said "I styled it after that pretty Sarah Palin lady." And she winked.

I wish I could say I was joking. This is my grandmother who also likes to let her hair down and watch Deal or No Deal, impersonating the models on the TV. She's a lot of fun, clearly, but the Palin thing worries me.

Posted by: Robert at October 6, 2008 6:11 PM

Skitts my friend you really do have a unhealthy preoccupation with O.J., I mean who can recite at a moments notice all of O.J.'s shenanigans?
Posted by: Pookie

I disagree. Even I could list everything he's done, but not because of the color of his skin, but because:
a) Who could forget everything OJ did?
b) If anyone has a fixation with race it's him. The only reason he didn't go to jail was because he turned the whole trial into a race crime. Michael Jackson did exactly the same thing, even though he probably can't sing anymore because of all the underage dick he's sucked.

OJ's defense was built around white folks trying to frame him for the murder of two white people; there's no point in denying it.

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at October 6, 2008 6:30 PM

I'm not explaining jack-shit to you.

I reiterate, if it wasn't a white woman you, and your type, wouldn't bat an eyelash.

The fact is, the case was brought before a jury, the jury heard the evidence and the man was acquitted. THAT's, how it works here, you don't like it, then you have a problem with America.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at October 6, 2008 6:36 PM

Oh, come on now. So say he didn't do anything, right? He didn't do jack shit. You don't think it's the least bit revolting he writes a book saying how he would have murdered the two of them had he actually decided to do it?

I know how it works here. I just think the shit he's done since being acquitted is a little goddamed repugnant and ignorant. If you want to say that makes me a racist, great. It also makes you a shithead. And if you wanna pull some of that "your type" bullshit, maybe you should get a little more info than what you pull off a goddam review site, otherwise you look like a twat.

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at October 6, 2008 6:46 PM

Sofia you sound like the typical ice princess, with your hate for Michael Jackson's ability to suck dick. So like the typical women, your boyfriend or husband will pay for this outrage.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 6:46 PM

Meaux, I could never stay angry with you. Just please spare me the further aggravation and agony.

Just a thought here - not denying any racial overtones, but could it be that OJ's so notorious because of his behaviour? A uniquely vicious crime with salacious details and backstory, a high-profile chase, a trial that was a contest of who could hog the camera the longest (developing a parallel, dark contest of who could fuck up their job the most to deserve the most camera time), then not one but 2 trials, in one of which he was not guilty but in the other he was liable? It's primarily the sensational crimes that grab attention, more so than racial ones I would say, just looking at Bobbit (sorry guys), Alexandra Yates, Scott Petersen..the white serial killers...the list goes on. I agree it's a travesty that it's dominantly young missing blue-eyed blonde white girls that get the press attention, but as far as attention for the accused, it seems more directly tied to what and how they did what they're accused of, the creative defense tactics, and how much money's at stake - skin colour is often a secondary concern. Spector and others like him aren't as remarkable as they're older, less widely known, and let's face it, accused of more mundane acts. Champion athlete...washed-up record producer (hey, what's a record producer do anyway?) Creatively violent double murder of ex-wife and her lover...some chick dies under mysterious and disputed circumstances? Identities and races aside, that's a pretty easy decision for a news producer to make.

Oh yes he does. It is awesome when Joe Rogan asks his opinion of an upcoming fight. All I can think is "He could smoosh you, Rogan."

Mr. Duncan is easily my favorite celebrity that they show in the audience.

Give it up Skitts, BSlim is right. You and your ilk wouldn't bat an eyelash if O.J.'s victims were white. Blacks were being lynched and terrorized from coast to coast as late as the nineteen sixties, but lets forget about that. But in your eyes, O.J. being found not guilty of killing two white people is the end of the civilized world.

Ugh, I am really going to regret this:

1) The first OJ trial was a farce. Nobody gave a shit about the guy before it happened, and the only thing he had going after was his infamy.

2) There was some shady misdealing on both sides, but the fact of the matter is the man got off. He was found innocent. Ever since then, the media has been watching the man like a hawk, regardless of anyone's real interest in his pathetic ass. And this new case was simply vindictiveness, pure and simple. The man was trying to recover HIS OWN PROPERTY from some guys who scammed him, and to attempt to get a life sentence out of it was ludicrous.

3) Let's be honest: black people didn't give a damn if he killed anyone or not (he did, by the way). We just wanted to see if he could get off on his "fame" and money like so many other celebrity defendants. This wasn't a blow for civil rights or race relations in the fucking least; it was revenge for all the unfortunate souls who were in prison unfairly. And even that reason was stupid; since it did nothing for those folks, and no real justice was done. Hell, this didn't even end the trend of railroading black celebrities with bogus charges. The murder of two people (regardless of the color or gender) was still unanswered for, black folks were still being thrown in prison for no good reason, and an asshole was given more attention that he deserved.

4) That said, OJ is a goddamn MORON. He has been milking this shit for the longest time, and now his inane fame-whoring has caught up with him. Instead of keeping a low profile, he has rubbed this in the public's face, practically daring people to come after him. That whole book deal shows how much of a lunatic he was. At least the Kennedys could keep their mouths shut about the murders tied to them.

5) I don't care how much a guy says he doesn't trust the goddamn police; that is no excuse to go break in to a hotel room and hold anyone (even admitted thieves that are there with your shit) hostage. He had no legal ability to do so, and even the most simple-minded of criminals would know not to do something so blatant. Yeah, the cops would've hassled him, but then THEY would be in the wrong, and he could have played the righteous indignation for all it was worth. The fact that they were gunning for him only makes the whole situation a plain embarrassment for everyone involved.

6) Saying he somehow deserved this verdict now because of his getting off back then is just as stupid and short-sighted as saying that someone is racist because they didn't think that his acquittal was real justice in any shape or form. And quite frankly, any further discussion of this idiot and the idiots that finally took him down is a waste of intelligence.

You're damn right you're are going to regret getting involved in this discussion. Give me a moment or two to digest your post and I'll get back to you.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 7:12 PM

Che, I do have to make a correction. I don't know of anything that OJ used a gun for. Was there one in the robbery? I don't remember.

Posted by: Melody at October 6, 2008 5:15 PM

Well, Melody, you're correct in pointing out that O.J. didn't carry a gun (that anyone knows about) in any of the escapades that landed him in court. He does tell his cohorts to bring guns to the hotel (according to the audiotapes) -- as if not physically packing the heat would make him less guilty in the conspiracy.

On a completely unrelated note (well, unrelated except to the extent that we're talking about jerks in all their varied coloration), nobody has brought up Fred Goldman so far. Misusing civil court because you're unhappy with an outcome in criminal court doesn't make you a hero in my book. A vindictive asshole, maybe.

After further review, I agree with everything Vermillion has said. Although I'm a little hesitant to fully endorse point number four, nonetheless I agree with all of his points. Now only if he could show Tyler Perry some love, I would sponsor his membership into the Soul Brothers Club

"You and your ilk wouldn't bat an eyelash if O.J.'s victims were not white."

I don't give a fuck if she was a Pygmy, he was a Spaniard, and both of them were distributing hot-pink flyers outlining the Ten Point Program, Pookie, you goddamed nut. So you're saying if he killed two non-whites, nobody would give a shit? Pull your head out of your ass.

"Blacks were being lynched and terrorized from coast to coast as late as the nineteen sixties, but lets forget about that."

Uh... yeah. That's exactly what I'm doing, I'm forgetting about that because... hold on, gotta adjust my Klan hoodie - WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A GUY WHO GOT OFF (guilty or not) OF MURDER, AND THEN WROTE A BOOK ABOUT HOW HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT. Not talking about race here, Pookie, I'm talking about tact and common decency following being found NOT GUILTY - both of which dumbshit Simpson has none of.

But O.J. being found not guilty of killing two white people is the end of the civilized world.

Yes. Yes it was. It was defining moment of my life. That day I knew there was no such thing as justice. Us poor, poor white folks. Whatever shall we do?

And enough with the "your ilk" bullshit. I could just as easily flip it around at people like you Pooks, ever the lightning rod of acceptance with your "half-a-fag"s.

Sofia you sound like the typical ice princess, with your hate for Michael Jackson's ability to suck dick. So like the typical women, your boyfriend or husband will pay for this outrage.

Posted by: Pookie

You clearly have doody in your soul, Pookie.

Posted by: Sofía at October 6, 2008 7:52 PM

I forget which comedian said it (I think it was Chris Rock) who said that the only thing OJ did for equal rights was prove that now a black man could buy a verdict.

Sofia, you have the kindest insults I've ever seen!

Posted by: lordhelmet at October 6, 2008 8:19 PM

Ha! This is all a clever ruse. O.J. has searched the planet for the real killer for 13 years and come up empty. Ergo, he thinks the real killer must be hiding somewhere in the prison system.

Nice try, Mr. Undercover, but you'll never find the killer in there, you fool! NEVER! Because ... I'm out HERE.

BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Aw, geez. It's over? Really? Man. I thought for sure the race wars were going to spill across these fine threads, ultimately ending in me & BSlim dancing slowly under the luminous glow of a new moon, to the soothing sounds of Pookie on violin. Kiss and make-up? Or are we forever branded as enemies?

I'll buy the beer...?

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at October 6, 2008 9:28 PM

You still here, Skitt? You're pretty intense when you're defending the Maximus family honor. I have a love-hate relationship with these kinds of charged exchanges myself, sorry to say. I think bucdaddy is on the right track.

So you making any progress in decommissioning your P.L.A.A.?

Posted by: Che Grovera at October 6, 2008 9:33 PM

Oh come on Skitts, you don't think Tom Cruise is half a fag? Listen Skitts, when I play the " half-a-fag" card I do it reluctantly. The point is O.J. was found not guilty of murder in a court of law. And no Skitts, I don't believe you are a Klan person because you have to much style and panache. And I just don't picture you in a white hat, I picture you more of a mauve kinda guy.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 9:45 PM

Nope. Tried paying for intercourse with it. After said coitus was complete. That didn't go over too well...

I don't dig on the shit neither, but I'm not going to be called a racist for no reason, catfish?

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at October 6, 2008 9:45 PM

Listen Sofia when you stop being all emotional, make mine a pastrami on rye.

Posted by: Pookie at October 6, 2008 10:10 PM

but I'm not going to be called a racist for no reason, catfish?

Yeah, if you're going to be called a racist there should be a good reason -- damn skippy.

For some reason, the way you chose to end your post planted the song Rock Lobster in my head...here comes a naarwhal!

A sexist joke! Tee-hee! Good one, Pooks!

Posted by: Sofía at October 6, 2008 10:25 PM

Tom Cruise only half? Ha! That man is as gay as Bobby Trendy on a Sat night.

Please.

Bucdaddy, that is awesome.

O.J.'s in jail?

[...scratches O.J.'s name off of my list of possible Pookie aliases]

Back to the drawing board.
