If you’re like me, and enjoy the ridiculous, trashy spectacle of America’s Top Model — but can’t tolerate the delusional, obnoxious spectacle that is Tyra Banks — here is a helpful recap of last week’s premiere! (FourFour)

Seriously — reading blogs written by fictional characters is about the last damn thing I need. (Slate)

The second to last damn thing I need? A new online networking community site — and one created by MTV, to boot. (YesButNoButYes)

Cripes, I thought “Thou Shalt Not Tax Thy Internet” was a fricking commandment or something. (QuizLaw)

Remember back in the good old days, where they would take any old crap and make a Saturday Morning Cartoon out of it? Well, this list barely cracks the surface, but it’s fun anyway. (Cracked)

And moving on from benevolent animated tv shows — here we have some truly terrifying animated films. (Matineer)

The new (vomit) “Sex And The City” film has (vomit) begun filming. (Crazy Days And Nights)

Hey celebrities! Stop taping yourselves having sex! Even if you make only one copy, and keep it in a top secret vault buried miles below the Earth’s surface — it will get out. Trust me on this one. (IDLYITW)

Even if you did feel bad for the ‘Don’t Tase Me Bro’ kid — if this don’t tickle your funnybone, than you must be made of stone. Stone, do you hear me?! Check it, after the jump.

Oh, Meg . . . we promised we wouldn't share that.

I'll watch ANTM but when TBanks comes on in the end and gets all breathy and eye droopy (her version of dramatic?) I always change the channel.

Even without the taser--nothing brings a smile to my face like those Hammerpants. (except in cartoon form.)

And why my child safety features blocked the "period plunger" from last week and yet showed Ms. Stripes gettin all sexed up is beyond me.

Charlotte looks like she's about to give birth on the freaking sidewalk. Seriously, how many more sex-capades can they have? And what's that monstrous flower on Carrie's dress? I thought that trend was dead. It looks like the plant from Little Shop of Horrors, only more girly.

Oh, sweet Cracked. How I love thee.

Meg's rep is denying that it's her, and after watching I would...tend to agree. There's a resemblance, but not a strong one.

Oh thank you thank you thank you for that clip! Had long yukky day at work and weather's crap and that made me laugh so much! Especially when he's going "augh! augh!" to the beat. Please Hammer, don't tase him!

And now I'm off to get my copy of Halo 3 and geek the frak out ;D

"Geek the frak out?" Hee. Brilliant phrasing. I actually used the word "frakking" out loud and in public the other day. This is worse that the great "frell" incident of 2002. I really need to think before using sci-fi slang. Although "shiney" has made its way into my general vocabulary and also that of those around me about which I am ludicrously pleased, and it has the added bonus of being a litmus test for new people.

*ahem* I had a point to make, now what was it?

Oh yeah: the Slate article. I'd read that the Big Love blog was actually fairly good but I don't actually watch the show so I can't really be a judge. The masochist in me wanted to see what kind of stuff was contained in these things so I attempted to read the Nurse's Station thing for Grey's. Oh. My. Lord. Why? Just why?

Consider me stone, I guess.

Well, the one good thing about that clip is this:

I now have "U Can't Touch This" in my head instead of Journey's "Separate Ways."

So, thanks, I guess.

"This is worse that the great "frell" incident of 2002."

I honestly can not stop laughing. That's sheer genius.

Oh, Jesus - is one of the plotlines *actually* going to be that Charlotte and Harry adopted a child and (wait for it!) Charlotte ends up pregnant? Does anything legitimately bad ever happen on that show?

Posted by: Samantha T at September 25, 2007 2:03 PM

Great. Thanks, Kolby. Now I have Journey stuck in my head.

Dammit.
