Jeremy, in the Pajiba New World Order, PL goes up at noon each day. As for Stacey's condition... I cannot speak to that. But, um, pay no attention to any noises you may hear coming from the basement. It's just the house settling.

TK, I'd use 'air in the pipes' instead of 'house settling'. It's more exotic sounding, and I find people are less likely to question it.

Speaking of the RNC, anyone catch the Daily Show last night? It was pure, blissful, schadenfreudey bliss.

I don't get the conventions. It's like the cheerleaders having a show without the football game. I did watch Obama because the man just commands me to watch him.
Now Palin, I had to try to catch her speaking on youtube just to see what all the fuss was about. I made it through about 14 minutes of her "Look, my family is just like yours!" speech - when she got to the shit about she and her bulldog sharing lipstick, I had to sign off.

I'm not clear on how Palin's family is "off-limits" from criticism when they provided the subject matter of half of her stupid speech. She apparently thinks she's qualified to run the country because of them ... and we're not allowed to inquire or talk about them. Huh.

If you don't vote repub, they refuse to acknowledge your vote and then they put you on mailing lists for Repubs and You! Newsletter, Teeotalers Anon Handouts, I Am Conservative, So Can You! Leaflet, Hell is for Sinners Magazine, Temple Wear Daily and We Own You, Give Us 10% of Your Money Bulletin.

It as bad as the mailing lists I got put on since I started posting here.

As much as I hate paying student loans and the whole student loan system, this video is bunk bc it's a guy bitching about being hassled after not paying on his student loans since the winter of 1997. If you aren't going to pay it back don't take it. You spend what you don't have and now it's your responsibility to owe up to it.

I'm sorry, it's a good song but I used to work for a major bank and had to deal with people all the time who complained when they were penalized for something that was legitimately their fault. Like not paying bills for years and years.

Just take some personal responsibility please.

The beast hasn't swallowed it's young, the young swallowed themselves.
