The best thing about that Ferris Bueller article, besides reveling in the gloriousness that was that movie, was the Aussie slant on the film, and the repeated explanations in the comments behind the "Anyone who would nail me wouldn't be here" line. That and deciphering the lingo.

Amy Winehouse.....has issues. But she clearly seems to give a flying fuck, so I'm not even going to go there.

That Ferris Bueller article was AWESOME. I expected it to be sucky, and was plesantly surprised.

The Ferris Bueller article was sheer brillance. I love that the writer took what must have been hours to meticulously go through a favorite movie and relate it's quotable quotes to life, the universe, and everything. But what I love even more is that that movie was Ferris Bueller!

All this Bueller talk reminds me of the night Fight Club first aired on FX. Husband was glued to the couch, re-watching it in all its modified-from-its-original-version glory.

Me: Honey?

Him: Yeah?

Me: How come we don't own this movie already?
