Pajiba Love

Whee! Because we really are this immature: Heigl goes cupcake diving, (WIMB) Heidi deep throats a popsicle, (WIMB) and Martha Stewart… Well, I’m just gonna let the picture do the talking here. (WIMB)

Fergie scared the living bejeezus out of some youngsters by writhing around on stage and simulating fellatio on her guitarist. All captured for posterity by the “Today” show cameras — check your local listings! (Yeeeah!)

225-pound, 6 foot tall autistic boy wreaks havoc on Catholic Church. Ever think this might just be God’s revenge for kid touchin’ priests? Oh boy, here we go. (QuizLaw)

Scarlett Johansson and Deborah Harry meet up to discuss “ScarJo’s mediocre album and Blondie’s 30-year enduring awesomeness.” Ha. (Agent Bedhead)

Known pedophile and overall nefarious evildoer Lou Pearlman lands himself a ticket to a quarter century of ass-rapings. Hooray! (DListed)

One of our esteemed readers had the opportunity to interview Uwe Boll, and when all is said and done — is he really as bad as we make him out to be? You be the judge. (BestDamnPodcast)

Ali Lohan finally accomplishes her dream of becoming her big sister. (Celebitchy)

Tom Selleck almost starred in “The Adventures of Indiana Smith?!” Oh hell no! (mental floss)

Year after year, I keep hearing about “The State” coming to DVD — but at this point, like the Tooth Fairy and Jesus — I’ll believe it when I sees it. (MaximumFun)

It’s not snowing in Philadelphia already, dammit! (Jezebel)

After the jump: Seth’s round-up this morning inspired me to go digging for this awesome old SNL clip featuring Chris Farley, Alec Baldwin and a still-funny Mike Myers. Enjoy!

Oh sweet baby jebus let The State DVD rumors be true this time! I've been waiting for years. Season 1 has been available on iTunes for a year or so now, but it's only 6 episodes, and a lot of the music was changed for the iTunes versions (it is apparently music rights that have held up the DVDs for so damn long...) grrr... I'm outta hEEEEeeeerrrrrrre.....

I can't wait for The State...my favorite sketch is the one where they go Muppet hunting for dinner.

"Who can help me count to three?"
:muppet appears at the window:
"I can!"
:snaps its neck:

I've always been rather partial to "The international sign for choking" sketch. It's not really quotable though... But I do want to dip my balls in it.

Pay attention to me. Please?

Posted by: Ben at May 21, 2008 4:28 PM

HA HA HA HA!!! Whoever did that is my new best friend.

Posted by: Julie at May 21, 2008 4:47 PM

Tom Selleck almost starred in "The Adventures of Indiana Smith?!"

They ended up making that anyway. It was called High Road to China and was every bit the D-Grade pulp action wannabe that Raiders would have been if Tom Selleck were in it. I like Tom Selleck just fine, but he ain't no movie star.

Posted by: socalledonlycousins at May 21, 2008 4:55 PM

Tom Selleck, huh? Interesting...

I saw the Fergie thing... Pretty goddamed stupid considering her fan base probably has no idea that the "Today" show even exists. Not to mention the friggin' large number of children that happened to be in attendance. Classy, huh?

Lou Pearlman getting 25 years reaffirms my belief in karma. He should get life for starting MTV's assault on our society.

Posted by: schrome at May 21, 2008 5:00 PM

I'm assuming a certain somebody had their comment "corrected"?

Posted by: Skittimus Maximus at May 21, 2008 5:03 PM

You are correct Skitt, said troll posted yet another boring rant on how we all suck.

Posted by: Julie at May 21, 2008 5:07 PM

Aww... That sucks. Lemme guess - did it involve any of the following words:

pus
caked
shit
butt
hole
cock

Did it? Man, I'm sure it was interesting. Stupid censorship anyhow...

Whoa, tripping the memories, Ted! I remember seeing "High Road To China" in a theater with my best friend and his dad. Bess Armstrong was no Marion Ravenwood at all, but she played the sorta pain in the ass 30s role as well as she could I guess.

(and then there's Romancing The Stone)

To be fair to the actors, I believe Tom and Danny were both contractually forced to not do "Raiders" and didn't just opt out. George says Danny was dying to play Sallah. And I like Tom and Danny well enough, but...yeah, I'm pretty glad TV producers kept them out of it.

i don't know why i had such a strong reaction but the picture of martha stewart made me squeal with delight/disgust/maybe a little fear. fergie is klassy (no - with a capitol K!)and i think it's sad that ali lohan looks like a 35 year old.

Posted by: kb at May 21, 2008 6:20 PM

There's just something awesome about Martha sporting the cumstache, aka "The Squirty Sanchez."

And Skitt, shut your pus-caked shitbutt cockhole.

(For discussion: Is the word "cockhole" inherently ambiguous?)

I kind of love that Heigl is unabashedly chowing on some high-fat, processed goodness.

Posted by: samantha t at May 21, 2008 7:37 PM

She looks beautiful. I saw her prof~ile on dat~ing site "W e a l t h y L o v I n g . co m " last week. It is said she is dat~ing young billi~onaire on that site.

Regarding ongoing Loves of Pajiba:

I went to the IMAX "Speed Racer" again tonight, having urged a friend to join me (everyone he knows who also reads comics and has seen it liked it too). There were a bunch of high school kids just let off the leash hootin' around the lobby, some there early for the midnight Indy. At one point he said, "is it sad that Matthew Fox is a much better Batman than Christian Bale?"

I hadn't thought of it before, and he's no fan of BB, but I agreed, his Racer X is a really good Batman. He looked right as well, both in and out of costume, and now it all almost seems deliberate. Not that I'd want to throw out Bale necessarily, but I think Fox could've done something really cool with it too. Oh well, something to ponder.

Oh and holy shit, John Phillip Law just died!

Oh and Una Panoonah Bankaaa AhhAHHHHHHH!

She looks beautiful. I love her. I saw her profiile on millionairedatingsite "W e a l t h yR o m a n c e.c o m" last week. It is said she is datiing young bililionaire on that site.

I already stopped going to WIMB because of the hypocritical celeb bashing. I mean, practically giving yourself a hernia defending Ellen Page for not shaving her legs, but criticizing Katherine Heigl for eating a goddamn cupcake? Robert Downey Jr. is cool for smoking but Heigl is a baby-slayer? I'm all for bile and vitriol, but that site is just about as bad as Perez Hilton's.
