I'm glad you include NYTimes pieces into this. I've enjoyed all of them. I'm currently going through some sleep issues with my daughter. It's no fun, believe me. It's hard to be an effective parent at 3:00 in the morning!

Even "good" parents can have kids with sleep issues, Renn. Pull your insensitive head out of your childless butt. The article was interesting, coming from a good parent who overcame a kids sleep issue with a lot of hard work.

I despise the 'family bed' concept with a fury. I believe it to be ridiculous, enabling and lazy. Yet, my second child (granted, he's an infant) ends up in bed with us at 3am simply because I am two ass-tired to do anything else. I chastise myself for it the next day, but goddamn it if I care at 3 in the fucking morning!
