Finally, some official news on Star Wars Episode VII. Principal photography will begin in May, and the film picks up 30 years after Return of the Jedi…presumably allowing for a reasonably appropriately aged Mark Hamill. (Slashfilm)

We do love our blasts from the past, so give a little cheer for the other big return engagement, Jurassic World. B. D. Wong says we have to go back to the island—he’ll be there. (Vulture)

The Internet’s reaction to this week’s episode of The Walking Dead was predictably hilarious. (Uproxx)

Despite Ryan Murphy’s protests that American Horror Story’s fourth season was not circus themed, it turns out it is carnival related. (Film School Rejects)

I’m not sure if Jaguar is messing with Cumberbatch and Hiddleston, their fans, or both. Either way, win-win, right? (Celebitchy)

Speaking with Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, Lena Dunham frowned upon people looking through Woody Allen’s films for confirmation he’s a child molester. The Girls star says she’s “Decidedly disgusted with Woody Allen’s behavior,” but “not comfortable living in a world where art is part of how we convict people of crimes.” She goes on to explain her own feelings are based on “the actual evidence that exists in the world,” rather than Allen’s films. Lena's making a lot of sense here, and taking an admirable stance.

People forget that he's not actually a pedophile, nor has get done anything illegal. He started dating his girlfriends daughter when she was 19. Evidence is pretty clear that his ex girlfriend (farrow) fabricated the pedophile stories and coached the childeren. Thus from the police investigations and Farrows son.

  • John G.

I'm excited to see your "pretty clear evidence" on this. So far, I've only seen he said/ she said accusations.

  • Damien

You just produced the evidence for me; there is nothing here other than he said she said fall out from a messy break up.

And I alluded to the evidence already. The police investigation found that the children were coached by their mother and declined to press charges. Mia's other Son last month wrote an article confirming that they were coached and said that his sister was never molested and that he wasn't sure if she was making it up in order to vindicate her mother or if she actually came to believe the story, but either way he said it was not true.

"presumably allowing for a reasonably appropriately aged Mark Hamill."
I'm assuming that's inclusive of Carrie Fisher as well. Someone else will be inheriting the metal bikini, I'm sure.

The Superman Go Pro video just made my day. I'm a sucker for flight.

What Lena Dunham is really saying is that although Woody Allen might be a pedo, she has no problem acting in one of his films if asked.

  • Damien

Correction.. She is saying, that though their is no evidence of him being a peodophile, she will talk about him as though he is.

would this be an example of cognitive dissonance?

  • cruzzercruz

I still like Woody Allen movies. I don't care. Now string me up.

  • John G.

    even Hollywood Ending?

  • cruzzercruz

    I didn't say all 50 of them.

Benedict Cumberbatch made me pay attention to the Best Production Design Oscar, so can he make me pay attention to an ad for a car I will probably never be able to afford? Yes. Yes he can.

  • MarTeaNi

It's true though that, even if I knew nothing about the man, I'd still find Woody Allen's movies to be pretty insufferable.

  • Sara_Tonin00

Right and fair. But different than looking through his films for evidence that he's a pederast. Because if that's the case...buh bye Nabokov.

  • Mrs. Julien

Manhattan, though. That one's central plot is about an ephebophile.

  • Dumily

True, but there's the whole actual relationship that actually happened in real life with a 17 year old. It just feels unnecessary to mine his movies when his life is so forthcoming about his creepiness.

  • Sara_Tonin00

Right, but it's one of his what, forty? movies.

  • stella

    Thank you!

She actually admitted to have made a mistake with him and vow to be better in the future, which is more than most people that shot with him have done, Ill give her that.

So, what's with the Ursula Andress picture?

    Not that I'm complaining.

    It's her birthday.
