The latest trailer for Ant Man and the Wasp is surprisingly fantastic, and Evangeline Lilly really does have a great strut in this. Put her in an Avenger movie, already. Check this out. (Lainey)

Oh shut the fuck up, Blake Shelton, you petty bitch. (DListed)

Wait, I watched Drew Barrymore (with Timothy Olyphant) on Watch What Happens a couple of weeks back and it never occurred to me that she was drunk. That’s just Drew Barrymore y’all. Loopy and slurry is part of her charm. Olyphant, on the other hand … (Celebitchy)

An editor for the Los Angeles Blade decided, as his plus one, to bring Kathy Griffin to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend, which is hilariously perfect. Anyway, at one point during the evening, Kathy Griffin got into it with Deputy White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley (actual name). Words were exchanged; Griffin told him to “suck my dick,” and Gidley, “who was holding a Tecate, announced he was off to enjoy his Mexican beer ‘before we build the wall and you can’t get these anymore.’ That prompted a farewell ‘fuck you’ from Griffin. Hahaha! It’s funny because he thinks a wall will keep out Mexican beer! (The Blade)

OK, remember last night when the NYTimes reported on the 49 questions that Mueller wants to ask Trump? Turns out, those questions were written by Trump’s attorney based on what he thinks Mueller wants to ask, and apparently, they were written to prepare Trump, because if he doesn’t testify, Mueller is legit threatening a grand jury subpoena. Trump is furious (per usual). (The Washington Post)

I’ve listened to a couple of episodes of SyFy FanGrrls Strong Female Characters podcast because I’m a big fan of Cher Martinetti, who runs the joint (where a lot of current and former Pajiba writers also contribute). Cher and he co-host, Preeti Chhibber, are fantastic together even when they are discussing topics that are not typically in my wheelhouse. This episode, however, is of particular interest because they talk to former Black Girl Nerds writers Kayla Marie, Joelle Monique and Clarkisha Kent about the collapse of Universal FanCon and what appears to be the implosion of BGN. (Strong Female Characters)

Friend of the site and admirer of great movie photographs, Chris Evangelista, dives spectacularly deep into the darkness lurking beneath in two of Steven Spielberg’s more lighthearted affairs, The Terminal and Catch Me If You Can in his latest in a series of pieces on Spielberg (also, keep an eye on Evangelista. He’s a helluva film writer). (/Film)

Check out Adam Rippon’s performance of RuPaul’s Sissy that Walk on Dancing with the Stars, which was “too sparkly, too fabulous, TOO GAY FOR WORDS for” Tom and Lorenzo not to feature it. (T&L)

Yeah, no:

YOU GUYS, Busy Phillips will join the ranks of female late-night talk show hosts, having agreed to host one for E! I bet it’s going to be an hour of Busy Phillips gossiping with Michelle Williams while drinking wine from Big Carl glasses and playing Penny Can and it’s going to be fabulous. (The Cut)

Remember ladies, cover your dirty pillows or you get a shame poncho.

Today, Kanye managed to hit a new low, saying that slavery was a “choice.” Upside: Van Lathan is a bad ass. (The Root)

It’s as though this were written with our readers in mind: A Tribute to Dance Scenes in Non-Musicals (and yes, Oscar Isaac in Ex Machina is among them). (FSR)

Speaking of cover songs that are better than the original, the Hamildrops have been amazing, but seriously this new (first original?) version of “Burn” managed to outdo the (show) original “Burn” from Hamilton. This is terrific.

Is there anyone better at Twitter than Rob Delaney?

Oh shit, Mark Ruffalo! (Spoilers for Infinity War, sort of).

Ellepkay is reading a series of romances by Mary Balogh, which has been a bit of a dud. Someone to Wed brought in more of the extended family and won Ellepkay over with its warmth. "The overarching theme throughout the series of family and acceptance was at its peak here, and I loved it." It still doesn’t have the smolder she is looking for in Romance, though. How much smolder do you require in Romance? (Cannonball Read 10)

Finally, we should end every day with Helen Mirren. (GFY)
