Just the little screencap showing for the "A Simple Gift" video is enough to keep me from watching. It might be funny, but I'm already going to Hell and I'd like to limit the number of times I'll be forced to listen to Celine Dion and watch Rob Zombie 'films' while there.
Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble finding Simon Cowell's other nipple in that picture?? Is that why he's so mean? He has a uni-nip?!?

Ashlee's video is actually pretty good. Yeah, I said it! I can't even hazard a guess as to how many pairs of tighty-whities would be creamed if an indie group/anyone other than 'A Simpson' released the same song. She deserves props. Salvador Dali imagery? Shit. Didn't know she had it in her.

Geetch - my thoughts, exactly. On the one hand, I know it's poking fun at well-meaning Westerners who have no clue; on the other hand, I shudder to think of the conversations and actions leading to these poor kids agreeing to have a bow on their head (if there were actually any). It doesn't help these people any more than the aforementioned well-meaning Westerners do!

No idea if you'll actually read this, but I agree, Kim! It pretty much goes without saying that Ashlee Simpson sucks, but that song is a total departure from her usual style and it's damn catchy. I like.
