Jack Nicholson is having some difficulties understanding the logistics of the new Batman movie. (WIMB)
NBC fires over 100 crew members from "The Office," and I just sure hope there's a nice warm little spot in hell for the execs who ordered this. (Celebitchy)
A hearty dish of "Chunky, Fully Loaded" looks only slightly more appetizing then the canned Beef Stew my canine friends dine on. (The Impulsive Buy)
The subject of Dog the Bounty Hunter's racist tirade thinks it's about time to get herself a big ol' slice of the Dog pie. Get it? Dog pie! Puns are awesome. (QuizLaw)
What's the required education level for your blog? Despite recent claims otherwise, Pajiba maintains Jr. High readability. (Blog Readability Test)
To be fair to O.J., we all know he's really not so much of a "gun guy." (IDLYITW)
Katie Holmes doesn't have to wait in line like everybody else because she made a baby with a gay man. Actually, that's not such a bad deal. I hate waiting in lines. (The Blemish)
Sarah Michelle Gellar continues to disappoint. (Maxim)
Anybody looking to make a cool 20 bucks? KSK has put a bounty on The Sports Guy. (KSK)
All parties involved with Lions for Lambs are frantically busy playing a game of "He who smelt it, dealt it" at this point. (Agent Bedhead)

The BCGMD (Batshite crazy gay midget dwarf), Tom Cruise, needs to shut the hell up and embrace the Xenu and get the hell off of my damned movie screens. That asshat pissed me off long ago and I have not and will not watch anything else that he is involved with until the end of time. I hope that every upcoming project he has fails miserably.
Redford and Streep should not be taking the blame for the failures of the overactor. Streep even made the otherwise unwatchable "Devil wears Prada" halfway decent.

Good God, NBC. Nice move. Looks like all that 4th Place in Ratings stuff has finally gone to someone's fire-happpy head.
The best part of the Maxim site? The little thumbnail photos on the right of that page that say "Next Girl", "Previous Girl", and "Random Girl". Hee.
Ah, the Soup should have added "...and dance around in towels and/or underwear and get caught doing so" to that title. However, Kate Walsh can still do no wrong. Yeah, yeah, girlcrushes don't die that easily, even if her character on this new show is nothing like the one on Grey's.

Hmm. One has to wonder at the motivations of the Blog Readability site. I tried a few URLs just to see. Pajiba is High School Level. Huffington Post is Junior High School Level and Michele Malkin is Genius Level. What does that tell you?
Posted by: PaddyDog at November 12, 2007 4:16 PM
There is nothing disappointing about those SMG pics, other than the fact that they're tiny.

I find it interesting that the only place where I'm getting updates on the writers strike is on Pajiba. Even going to Google news I never see anything on it. Maybe when it really starts getting ugly in a few months?

Sarah Michelle Gellar MAYBE, would have been something semi-interesting way, waaaay, back.
Before she became Freddy Prince Lamer's cock holster.

My MySpace blog was college undergrad rated for readability. Yippee! I am so smart, S-M-R-T, I mean S-M-A-R-T.
Seriously, everytime I read about The Office no longer being in production, I nearly cry. Thank Jebus I have my seasons on DVD and my DVR to record the reruns of this season when they start. JIIIIIMMMMM!!!

Please, please, please, someone collect that bounty on the Sports Twerp. Bill Simmons is such a homer jackass, not to mention his whining, gloating, and conspiracy theories that support every negative stereotype about Boston sports fans.
[*looks around, realizes what website we're on*]
Eh, never mind. As you were.

Hmmm...
perezhilton.com is at a high school level, while pajiba is junior high level? how does the black box at the blog readability site work?
Posted by: mikki at November 12, 2007 6:04 PM
United Hollywood is a great Strike News blog from the writers on the frontlines.
Posted by: Mandacat at November 12, 2007 6:31 PM
Yikes! My blog got rated as genius level. I didn't think I was doing anything too complicated in linking to my own articles and describing them, but apparently I am.
How can it be genius level when I haven't even used a semi-colon? How I ask you? How?

I'm surprised Dog's downfall came about by using the "N" word. I was so sure it would have been because of Meth.
Posted by: Pookie at November 12, 2007 7:46 PM
Maybe he was on meth when he used the "N" word. Works.
Posted by: socalledonlycousins at November 12, 2007 8:07 PM
Can we please, please, please get away from the pictures of Katie Holmes running the marathon? Just the thought of running that far without a sports bra causes me pain.

As someone who has worked on the lowest level of the totem pole in movies (picking up people's soggy cigarette butts in a swamp in the middle of the Night in the dead of Winter, as an unpaid intern), and who then got screwed over (by the writer/producer) for the gas money it took me to drive the 2 hours to get there, I have been having a hard time stomaching this strike. The Grip from the office justified my uneasiness. God bless the 'little people', because making movies and TV shows is filthy bloody hard work without any glory when you're below the line.
Posted by: amea_gari at November 12, 2007 10:30 PM
High School level, bitches. Suk it.
Posted by: Manny at November 13, 2007 1:55 AM
Wow. That firing is just straight evil.
Posted by: Andre at November 13, 2007 3:16 AM
Apparently my blog ranks as "college undergrad". Marvellous!
And I too have a massive girlcrush on Kate Walsh... although it's not as big as my massive actual crush on Taye Diggs and so I fear I am doomed to keep watching Private Practice no matter how much it ultimately both saddends and enrages me. Stupid manipulative TV casting. Now if only they'd fire Justin Chambers and I could stop watching Grey's.
*ahem* my shameful TV viewing aside, the clip did indeed make me giggle the first time I saw it.

D'Oh. Typos hurt my eyes. It's too early for this. I need my coffee.

NBC is supposed to pay people to sit around and do nothing while Lexus drivers argue with Mercedes drivers about petty issues? No show, no staff. Steve Carrell could put all these people on his personal payroll for the duration of the strike...but he's not. BTW, loved the cover of Entertainment Weekly. I've always wanted to duct tape shut some Hollywood mouths myself.
Posted by: grumpyoldman at November 13, 2007 8:25 AM
I put in AshtonVon.com and it came out "Genius"
oh the lulz.
Posted by: soda at November 13, 2007 8:53 AM
Yeah. I'm very quickly losing sympathy for the writers. It might be completely gone within a few days.
Posted by: Cdell at November 13, 2007 9:46 AM
I'm reeeeeally scratching my head over the blog readability test. Everything I tried seems results in an inversion of what I would have expected, but I can't really come up with the algorithm that would have produced that result except for general suckage of the test.
Posted by: Amanda at November 13, 2007 1:45 PM
"Now if only they'd fire Justin Chambers and I could stop watching Grey's."
Oh, GOD, Alex. I KNOW. Heh, we have the same taste in men and women, as it appears.
Ahem. Carry on.
