Pajiba Love

Coldplay is releasing a new album early next year, and it's guaranteed to be redundantly stupid as ever! (Webster's Is My Bitch)

Hayden Panettiere, bless her sweet little heart, tries to save dolphins in Japan. On a related note, Hayden Panettiere is my new hero. (Celebitchy)

Trust us, Beckyloo -- we here at Pajiba sure as hell care about the strike! (TVFallsInTheWoods)

To the shock of absofuckinglutely nobody, Dog the Bounty Hunter is a racist piece of shit. (The Blemish)

Dustin gives Fred Phelps a dose of venom so vigorous and enthusiastic that it makes me get up from my desk and give the man a standing fucking ovation. (QuizLaw)

Vermillion may have just found a way of getting me to finally watch the previously avoided "Beauty and the Geek." (Vermillion's Brain)

We already covered this news item on Pajiba this morning, but what the hell -- I just love an excuse to link to photos of smokin' hot Eliza Dushku. (Popoholic)

Kate Beckinsale actually kind of pulls off an otherwise tired-ass Halloween costume. Good for her. (Celebslam)

Umm. Amy Winehouse is, like, um, a total, um, bitch. (WIMB)

Ha! I think he may have told that story on a sort of "Night with Kevin Smith" DVD. I seem to recall him making a sign that said "DOGMA is DOG SHIT" but he was asked not to hold it. ["This review is just two words: 'shit sandwich'."] They should have been protesting that movie just because it sucked, not because it was particularly offensive to Catholics.

After years of total ambivalence towards Dog the Bounty Hunter, I was just starting to like him because my aunt told me he was the one who captured Andrew Luster. Now I guess he sucks. Ah, well. Que sera, sera.

Coldplay has managed to resurrect the Wussrock genre for a whole new generation of girly men and "Phils" from marketing departments all over the world.

My town's been hearing a lot about Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church lately...the high school's putting on a production of The Laramie Project and they're protesting it. We even get a special mention on their website (www.godhatesfags.com)! Apparently, everyone from our school is going to hell...Fucking ignorant intolerant asses.

Ha! Last night out in Miami I saw not one but TWO guys dressed up as Dog the Bounty Hunter for Halloween in the same bar. And yeah, no surprise at all, with the racism and shit.

Coldplay is not rock. It's somewhere on a spectrum between easy listening and elevator music. But then again, I feel the same way about a lot of bands that several Pajibans seem to enjoy immensely, so I'll shut my mouth now.

Good luck to Vermillion, if you decide to go for it!

Oh yeah Verm, that sounds like a great idea...

I've been seeing different headlines on Dog the bounty hunter today, and now it looks like he may have to meet with Al Sharpton. I like how if you're a "famous" person your first step to racist redemption is to meet with the Reverend Al.

i forgot to add my "go for it" to vermillion! i was going to audition for "survivor" before i hurt my back. that was quite awhile ago, though.
besides, nerds are cool.

How glad am I that other people think Chris Martin is an over-hyped weenie? And not just because he's married to The Gwyneth but because his music is meh.

My husband probably could tell you where, according to Dante, Mr. Fred will reside in hell. Maybe stuck in the frozen lake being chewed on or something.

Vermillion,
Since I can't seem to post a comment on your site
here's what I have to say:

I TRIPLE dog dare ya!
So now you have to do it.
Dem's the rules, baby.

I, personally, am grateful for the existence of Coldplay on a daily basis. They make an excellent conversational screening tool - seriously ask someone what their favourite song is. If the response is "anything by coldplay" it's not even worth responding.

My flatmate once had a professor who used this gambit as an introduction to his smaller classes: anyone who claimed their favourite song was "Anything by Wussrock band currently in the charts" got picked on mercilessly throughout the year.

Bwah. He talked about that video on Evening with Kevin Smith. Bryan Johnson was there too. (Kevin gave his name as Bryan Johnson, if I remember correctly. )

Normally, I'm all for Eliza Dushku, but she just doesn't look as smoking hot as she usually does in those pictures.

Dammit, LS! You ahd to link it on Love? With the responses here and on my blog, I can't back out now! I had excuses ready and everything!

I mean, there is a documented triple dog dare on the table!

CURSES!!!
